Members Reviews:
Great history

The fact that my son so enjoyed listening and was able to retain the information.
Who was your favorite character and why?
It had to be Liberty. My son and I laughed often.
Which character as performed by Rush Limbaugh was your favorite?
Liberty
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes
Any additional comments?
What a great series. It is a true service Mr. Limbaugh has done for our young people. My son can't wait for the next book, and he has started to take a real interest in our history and current events.
Adventures with Exceptional "class"
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would recommend this for an adult or child. It would be fun to do as a family read, using a chapter at a time and leaving them wanting more. If you match it with the paperback, they can read along. Even better!
What did you like best about this story?
It is a positive look at the First Patriots with a little technology mixed in to make it seem more relevant to kids and even some adults, that live and die by the cell phone and internet.
Have you listened to any of Rush Limbaughs other performances before? How does this one compare?
I enjoyed the "Pilgrims" book and await a new book in the time travel series.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I chuckled several times. I love the horse and the kids.
Any additional comments?
Forget any prejudice or preconceived feelings concerning Limbaugh and just enjoy. History come to life is always more engaging for young people, and this does the trick.
You just might learn something
Without a doubt written for a young audience...but this book is a fun romp through history that will have your kids learning more than you did in school. It appears someone did some extensive research for this book (maybe Limbaugh himself or maybe one of his staff). Anyway, I enjoyed the book, but had more fun watching my kids get into it. Funny thing is my 11 year old thought she was too grown up for it. I started it for my 8 year old and before long, my daughter was reading along with the hardback version as well. On her own, she has already gone back and listened to the first one as well. I recommend this one for a great family listen.
Over the top!
If you could sum up Rush Revere and the First Patriots in three words, what would they be?
Liberty is awesome.
What other book might you compare Rush Revere and the First Patriots to and why?
I cannot think of one. History books are not exciting. This is.
What about Rush Limbaughs performance did you like?
His voice is easy to listen to. Intriguing.
