Good book, ok narration..

I dont know if Ive ever read a reaper book but I have to say that this was pretty good. I absolutely loved Kylen. He was kind of torn between being good and being evil, and then he saved Olivia in a back alley and that was that. Olivia was dying from the last stages of cancer and she was in the alley when she tried to help two other people who were having their souls taken by demons and the demon turned on her. She had a great bucket list, too.

Of course, I loved all the other players: Deacon, Ruth, Nate and Maeve, they were all great secondary characters. And it was one battle after another throughout the book. It was kind of exciting through the entire story. And it was a great love story.

There was definitely explicit sex in this. And swearing, too. And the F-bomb was used 7 times.

Overall, I did enjoy the whole book. I will move on to the next book even though I wasnt completely thrilled with the narration.

As to the narrator: At first I was thinking I wasnt going to be able to listen to this because it seemed like Michael Rubino was in such a hurry to finish the book, he read sooo fast it was just crazy. But I kept listening and he finally slowed down. The men all had their own voices but the women sounded pretty manly. It was OK but he really needs to practice his womens voices.

Loved it

I loved this book, I never actually read any stories about reapers so it was a nice change from the typical vampire story. The narrator did a great job of playing all the characters as well as being deep and mysterious with the main character. Totally will recommend this audio book to others!

I loved this book!

I am reading this series out of order but I find, so far, while I appreciate the Ives men, I like Dunstan best! He is the most accepting of the validity of their capabilities enough to know to support his love and suppress his Ives natural tendencies when she needed him to! I am on to the next without pause!

Big strong Cat's

This was a good story. Even for a short story you got to know the characters. This author did a very good job putting everything in a short space. Strong lion alpha and strong female cheetah end up running from what she did not know but in her line of work she just knew it wasn't good. He knew what she was instantly and the rest was history. The reading was easy and enjoyable so give it a try you won't regret it!

good and full of suspense and some romance

I have to say this is a good book and loved that there was some suspense to it cause that is what kept me reading this story. I loved that he knew that Sarah? was his mate when he first saw her in the piazza. He won't tell her to much about himself except that they were on the same side. I hated that he left her and didn't get on the tourist boot and disappeared into the crowd before giving her the intel that he got off the died person in the canal. I liked that he did make it to the states and gave it to her , but only after the figured out what was the info and why the dr. was trying to get it to the government of the United States. The said dr. was trying to get them to bring her to the states so she could get info back to her comrads.

Really liked Dante and Stephanie

I nearly did not buy this because Amazon said the print length is 58 pages and most of the books I've read of this length have been rushed or just shallow, skimming over details and unsatisfying to read. But the blurb made it sound very different from your typical shifter story, so I decided to check out the sample, and got hooked. The book was free, so I thought, why not?

Very interesting to have Stephanie be both a covert operative as well as a cheetah shifter. She isn't a damsel in distress, she's a competent agent trying to do her job. When Dante shows up, she assumes he's the contact she was sent to meet, because he gives her the correct code phrase. She recognizes him as a shifter, although all she's able to tell is that he's a large type of cat, not a cheetah like her.

Good read

Good read. I like the characters and plot development. Very interesting. There are a few typos in the kindle edition that I noticed. It's nothing major, you still know what is being said. I also don't like that the book end in the middle. It's like one long story that's split into 3 books. I like this author but I think that's the biggest flaw. I would rather buy 1 big book and get the whole thing than smaller incomplete stories. You have to commit to the whole series to have any clue what is going on in the story line. This is why I took a star off. Otherwise I like the story. I just wish I had the whole story

Love this series

Read the first one yesterday, this one today and just ordered book three. Unlike book one this book leaves you hanging and wanting to know what happens next for Anya and Jarrett.

So - got to go do some more reading.

Another great Black Hills Wolves story by M. Limoges. Its a good thing the hero in this book is patient because his heroine would drive a lesser man over a wall. He's great. She's awesome. I loved it. Great book.

Fun if sometimes frustrating romp.

Stephen has known Kate was his mate for a very long time but she has consistently refused to mate with him. It is for Stephens own good and the good of the pack or so Kate believes. Growing up in a dysfunctional pack has lead Kate to believe she has to hide her shortcomings especially from Stephen. But he wonât let her get away with it for much longer. Will her issues continue to keep them apart? Itâs amazing what a little thing like talking to each other would have done for these two but then we wouldnât have a story. Fun if sometimes frustrating romp.

Taming His Mate

Taming His Mate is a short story that is part of a book series, Black Hills Wolves. It can be read as a standalone. Stephen has known Kate since she was a young girl. He always knew she was to be his mate, but Kate always kept pushing him away and he canât understand why. She has always loved Stephen but she carries a huge secret that she has kept locked away so tight that not one single person knows about it. Kate just doesnât want to burden him with what she perceives as her defects. She believes she can never be the mate he deserves so she keeps pushing him away. Stephen reaches his breaking point and will not stand for her running away from him. Can Kate take the leap of faith and come clean about her secret? And if she does, what happens then? Can she live with the consequences? This was a good book! Even though it was short, the author did a great job developing these characters! I could feel Kateâs struggle and sympathized with her. I truly enjoyed reading it. This is my first book to read by M. Limoges, but I can safely say it will not be my last! If you love paranormal reads, especially hunky wolves, then give this a try. I think you will be very pleased with your purchase!

Perfectly Exquisite! â

I must say that I just really loved this book. I like the whole idea of the dating agency and how it works so beautifully. It was written in a style that had me totally engaged with this story. Angie and Dawson were adorable together. The way they laughed together and were free to be who they were was wonderful. The humor was fantastic, especially since it had me laughing also, and the sex was hot. The pace of the story was just right for me, and honestly, I intend to read more of this author's books. There was also a hint of danger, but the couple came out of it becoming closer and stronger together. When Dawson was in the hospital acting like a big baby, it was hilarious! :) I enjoyed the heart warming feeling I got while reading this. Perfectly intriguing read. So until I read her next one, "Same Fox time, same Fox channel." :)

Slow but to the point

Dalton and Angie were two of a kind. Both giving up their happiness just to ensure that their friends happiness comes first. Well with a matchmaker like Eva around, those bad habits had to end.

Angie didn't understand but for the last few weeks a mysterious male green eyed male appeared in her dreams, the same for Dalton. They were two people leading different lives; one as a police dispatcher and the other a piano player at a bar. How would they meet? Leave it to Eva.

I loved the message of this book; never put anyone's happiness before your own.

Maybe a quick read but boy was I laughing a lot during the whole book!!! I'm so recommending you check out this series each book is just going to make you laugh and smile! Lynn Red does a wonderful job with her ability to bring her characters that are not the norm but quirky and unique. I'm sure you'll be smiling at the characters and dialogues.

This book is truly a continuation of part 1. It begins right where part 1 left off with Nic and Morgan separated because of war and misunderstandings. It is a great conclusion to part one.

New characters enter the story that will continue the saga. You finally get some time travel.

Cute story

What did you love best about Shifter: Grizzly - Part 2?

Loved this audio listen just as much as I did part 1. Again the author intrigued me with the story line while the narrator did a great job of bringing the story to life. I can't wait to listen to the next part of story. Right now I'm torn between reading the kindle version of part 3 or waiting for the audio to come out

Great series!

Funny, wrenching, and romantic. Dealing with the consequences of having punched out an insulting bully in public, she now is confronted by the men she is interested in who announce to her that they are shifters. Bears, to be exact. See what else happens in this adult romance.

Audrey Lusk is great at demonstrating each character and the emotions of each.

An interesting story

Despite the fact I haven't read part one I found this second part really enjoyable. The narrator was really good and she really kept my interest.

I had some trouble with the story as I found that more than once the couple does some mind reading so when the one things something the other replies in reality or understands that thought. Also I have to say that so far the main female character has shown no Alpha attributes yet.....

Overall the story was good and enjoyable and I would like to hear what will happen next

She did Cass well, however as with some female narrators trying to do men's voices, they could be a bit over done.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes and I did. It was witty with very likable characters.

Any additional comments?

A unique take on shifter romance. Shifter story writer meets shifter--they are real. Then introduce alpha female and interesting rules about them, very interesting.

One note as both in the literary business I don't think either would say ain't and both did only once that I read.

I was gifted part one and two audios, but had to finish and own the books.I recommend the series I have one part to go.
