It's comedy week here on our movie talk episode and we have a couple of pretty damn good ones to get into. Kevin went with the 2001 comedy/adventure movie starring David Spade, Joe Dirt. It wasn't very good according to critics but seems to have a good cult following from general audience members. Drew chose Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which is fun comedy from 2008 starring Jason Segel, Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis and more. This week's movie picks are ones that we chose because of our strong emotional connection to them. The movie that Kevin brought to the table is Sean Baker's 2017 drama/indie film, The Florida Project. Willem Dafoe stars alongside many unknown actors which gives this movie a very real and raw tone. Drew's choice is the 2016 anime film, A Silent Voice which is about bullying, depression and social anxiety. Both of these films have some heavy subject matter and that's kind of what drew us toward these picks.
