    The Washington Commanders fell to the Philadelphia Eagles 34-31 in overtime at Philadelphia. The game was much closer than many expected, and the Commanders could taste victory in a hostile environment.

    The show begins by discussing whether Ron Rivera, Eric Bieniemy and co. have gone for 2 at the end of regulation. On the road and in the division, it seems like if you’re ever going to go for it, that’s the time to do it. We then explore the good, which was containing D’Andre Swift, and seeing Sam Howell step up and play his best game as a pro in the division and on the road.
    Now that the game is done, was this a moral victory? What do we make of the season moving forward?

  • Washington Commanders at Philadelphia Eagles Week 4 Preview, Predictions, Matchup Breakdowns

    The Washington Commanders go on the road to Philadelphia this week to take on the undefeated Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field. The last time we played the Eagles, we came out victorious at their house and ended their perfect season up until that point. Can we do it again this week?

    The episode begins by assessing this year’s Philadelphia Eagles squad. What is working for them? Are they Superbowl bound yet again?
    The breakdown begins with the Commanders defense against the Eagles offense. Chase Young, Montez Sweat, Daron Payne and Jonathan Allen have their biggest test of the season so far and that is to slow down an Eagles running game that now features D’Andre Swift. Swift is averaging 7 yards a carry, which is easily tops in the NFL. How do we slow it down? Is it even possible? And if we do, how do we then stop Jalen Hurts, DeVonta Smith and AJ Brown?
    Flipping sides of the ball, will Sam Howell and the offense rebound and play well enough against an Eagles defensive line that is elite, but also features a suspect secondary? Terry McLaurin and Jahan Dotson do need to get the ball more, but is our true identity on offense running the football with Brian Robinson?
    We jump into our predictions, where the Commanders are 8.5 point road underdogs, and the over-under is set at 43.5 points.

    The Washington Commanders got DESTROYED at home to the Buffalo Bills 37-3. The offense, led by Sam Howell and Eric Bieniemy, was absolutely terrible and did no favors to a defense that had a tough task in attempting to slow down a high-powered Buffalo Bills offense.

    The Commanders defense did all it could against the Buffalo Bills, but when you have 5 turnovers on offense, there’s only so much that you can do to slow the opposing offense down. Josh Allen was excellent for Buffalo, and Sam Howell was awful for the Commanders. How will Sam Howell and the Commanders offense respond against a Philadelphia Eagles team that’s favored to go back to the Superbowl from the NFC once again?

Over the last 3 seasons, we have heard about their Superbowl aspirations, yet they lose 1 round earlier in each postseason. Is their Superbowl window still open? What do we make of Josh Allen and that Bills offense? What about the Bills defense?
    We preview both units, first looking at that Bills defense against Sam Howell and our Commanders offense. What is the best way to exploit the Bills defense? How do we continue our momentum that we had in Denver?
    We flip the script and look at the Bills offense, led by Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs, against our Commanders defense. Chase Young, Montez Sweat, Jonathan Allen and Daron Payne need to have HUGE games in order to stop James Cook and the run game and then see if Josh Allen will make mistakes with his arm and legs. Can we do it?

    The Washington Commanders won an absolutely rollercoaster ride of a game against the Denver Broncos. While the Broncos fall to 0-2 on the season, we now rise to 2-0 on the season!

    The episode begins with the reaction to the game - the emotional swings, the ups and downs, the heart and character that this team showed. What went well? What could have gone better?
    The Commanders defense, after a very shaky start, settled down and played to their potential, sacking Russell Wilson 7 times and forcing 2 turnovers, 1 by Emmanuel Forbes and the other by Jamin Davis. We also highlight the impact that Chase Young had on the game. He marked his return with 1.5 sacks, notably meeting Montez Sweat at Russell Wilson simultaneously for his half sack.
    How about Sam Howell? How about QB1 of YOUR Washington Commanders? In his first ever road start, he leads an offense to 35 points. He made numerous excellent throws, stayed medium despite being down 21-3, and played a huge part in winning this game for our Commanders.
    How about the gameplan that Eric Bieniemy came up with? This is his first time out of the Andy Reid shadow, and he had something dialed up for his old AFC West foe in the Denver Broncos.
