While we can’t predict the future or control many of the challenges we are faced with, we do get to decide how we respond to life’s little adventures.
Episode Description: I think it’s fair to say that those who are “living large” generally expect good things to happen. Facing the world with an optimistic outlook tends to tip the odds in your favor. At a minimum, being positive likely allows one to see opportunities and positive outcomes. Knowing where you’re headed helps one to forge ahead with certainty, making it less likely that the occasional hiccup will be enough to waylay your progress!
Lean in for Fearless Living Strategies you can use to power forward toward your destiny!
What is your go-to response when a new challenge arises? When faced with the unknown, do you default to “fight or flight” mode?
What do you think of when you hear the adage, feel the fear and do it anyway? At any given moment you’re likely to hit a wall or some form of roadblock that keeps you from moving forward. If it’s just a mental block or momentary fear holding you back, let’s explore ways to move forward.
As a tool for self-preservation, evolution has equipped us with ready-made responses to fear:
I used to pooh-pooh the notion that one could be afraid of success, but upon further reflection, I realized there is some truth to that statement! Success is a journey and it is very much about the person you become along the way. With this growth comes (a natural) fear of failure. You have a dream, a big desire, a big-fat-hairy goal, and now that you're ready to pursue it, self-doubt creeps in. Now what? Are you going to let a little fear get in the way of your grand achievements?
Listen to this podcast for solutions to those bugaboos and more.

Have you heard that there is a new normal and thought “I don’t know what that is”? Do you need help to become financially resilient?
Episode Description: Living our best life generally involves dreaming, goal setting, and planning; and when this doesn’t work, revamping what we planned to do or simply just going in another direction. Whether you are an LLC or work for a corporation or a non-profit, "business as usual" does not exist anymore. We have seen remarkable - read: terrible or unbelievable - shattering of people’s lives this past 18 months. Others were also impacted, perhaps to a lesser degree, but because of what had occurred, decided they needed to rethink how they earned their livelihood and dreams.
There are three distinct time frames to consider:
Pre-Pandemic: one-third of American families did not have enough rainy day funds set aside.
Pandemic: this was a major financial shock for even the college-educated. Add to this fact, that the median net worth in the country is $29K, excluding any home equity.
Post-Pandemic: Wait, are we there yet? Is this the new normal? Life still doesn’t resemble pre-pandemic.
This means:
o It's time to become financially resilient; start investing earlier!
o There will be long-term effects on careers
o As yet unknown, there may be long term effects of children learning from home
Lean in and listen to this podcast to learn what you can do to reduce your financial vulnerability and become more resilient in this New World Order, which is still evolving. We don't yet know what's around the corner so be nimble. Adapt. Thrive.
