In this episode I will be comparing SCHD vs. QYLD. I know that these two dividend ETFs are very different when it comes to dividend investing. So why compare them? I think there is value in seeing how an income approach (QYLD) compares to a growth approach (SCHD) both in the short term and in the long term. QYLD is one of the highest paying monthly dividend ETFs on the market now but while it sports a super high dividend yield it doesn't offer much in terms of capital appreciation. SCHD on the other hand has a more modest dividend yield but exceptional growth prospects. I was quite surprised how this comparison shook out under my normalized assumptions. Which fund do you think will be better SCHD vs. QYLD?
