One of the best ways to use what available capital you have is to focus it inward and use it to turn yourself into the most complete, capable, knowledgeable person you can be.

You see, when you neglect your own development, no matter how much money or success other people seem to have around them, they will always be more successful than you because they've invested in themselves and turned themselves into who they want to be. But if you neglect yourself and do just enough for yourself but not enough for others, If you let things fall by the wayside or get distracted by other people's needs or problems, nobody wins.

In other words: When we put ourselves first, everything else falls into place around us; when we put ourselves last, nothing makes sense anymore.
