After a pulsating game in Devon we chat with some who watched remotely and some who braved the elements (1459 Watford fans travelled on New Years Day - Heroes). Rich is frustrated to have scored 3 goals away but not defended well enough to take 3 points, Alan is aghast that anyone wont have loved that game, Wendover is more content but feels that our Danish forward may be beyond economical repair. Paul joins us on a club coach in Plymouth where a motor cyclist is trying to have a fight with a coach! Jason also having been in Plymouth once again delighted to have been entertained to something close to a basketball game!! Finally "Steve" joins us for the first time (again from Devon) and asks is Wesley Hoedt really that good? - A great debut call!!!

A shorter Boxing Day Spaces and differing opinions are at the heart of whatever this thing is. Here everyone was frustrated but after a series of improving performances a few of the potential weaknesses all came home to roost.

Wendover picks over a disappointing set of performances but hopes the transfer window might be used to bring in fresh faces and legs in January. Sean, having called out Bristol City’s Mehmeti when at Wycombe looks over the set pieces and areas of open play where we were ponderous collectively and individually.

We say hello to Boyd for the first time in a few weeks and he calls out our failings but hails Bristol City’s attitude and tactics on the day and agrees that the reaction from the manager and squad on Friday against Stoke is now of pivotal importance. The lack of movement from Rajovic is discussed again along with his lack of contribution in open play.

Justin joins for a few moments before putting Boxing Day Football behind before Ant joins us with a suggestion that we should “think twice” and everything gets a bit Celine Dion-esque for a Titanic of a game but hoping that the game was a blip of a performance but takes responsibility for the result as for the first time in months he put a bet on Watford to win. Ant again goes rogue and starts asking Pete questions!!! We ask if we are asking too much in expecting consistency from Ryan Andrews so early into his first team career.

Ellie joins us to say what is needed which is experienced players and squad depth neither of which we really have, Shane joins us with dwindling levels of disappointment but rising levels of champagne cutting it out and disagrees with Ellie and Ismaels selection upfront of Rajovic, calls out Asprilla and Sierralta’s roles helping out Ryan Andrews in the first half. Finally, Charlie joins us from beneath “Man Flu” and points out that in his eyes there were no positives and that we have a regular habit of conceding the first goal and after doing this a number of times it was always going to catch us out eventually.

Three away wins in a row! IN A ROW!! Here we hear the first part of the fan reaction following a spirited fight back following some substitutions that really swung the game!!! Wendover is cock-a-hoop, Vinnie wonders why we don't start with our better players as in his view Asprilla is the best player we have, Justin calls out the injury record having improved with rotation as playing a pivotal part in the season so far. Rich denies Mrs WFC2 dinner out as we didn't score 5 and asks if Val is a lucky manager - prompting Pete to bang on about Napoleon (it made no sense then and it makes no sense now either).

John P joins us with his Dad "Mr Parslow Senior" on his 88th birthday which means he might receive about 11 copies of the Elton John book between now and Christmas! Happy 91st birthday to "Mrs Eckaslike Senior" as well! We finally get to face the Robins whilst the Xmas dinner is still being digested and then we’ll face them again in January – the EFL have some explaining to do. We find out from Dave from the Forever Bristol City Podcast about their season, Nigel Pearson’s departure and how new manager Liam Manning is getting on – the owner and board are scrutinised as Big Nige was jettisoned (again) in a manner that was less than pleasing.
