PART TWO Jason joins us from a quiet coach one heading south after what sounded like a thoroughly frustrating afternoon in the stands at the Riverside and a long journey home still to go. John thought we all need a reality check and now need to look at things going forward as a 20 game season to the play offs and beyond. Ellie comes on and talks pancakes and a lack of organisational structure. We go through the five word and longer reviews before Carl materializes right at the end to say he wants Bilic to stay!
We wait to see what recoveries from injuries and the end of the transfer window gives at the end of month. Fingers crossed

First half of the Twitter Space Phone In after an incredibly disappointing afternoon on Teeside.
Caity confirms that we are not Leicester, Uncle Ron locks himself in a toilet before suggesting that Bilic should go, we start to vote what Chinese dishes Greg should have for his takeaway tonight and Jack calls in from the US with some fabulous quotes worthy of Winston Churchill who Jack also suggests we should re-animate as next manager.
Neil questions the lack of continuity and the impact that the lack of stability has had, Paul comes in and explains that it can all be summed up in one word – apathy be it with the club, the board and now the manager. Rich comes on and agrees and adds to Paul’s comments and both of them take Pete’s well intended binary poll and rip up the rules – again! Rich asks what the atmosphere was like in the away end so we end part one taking Mals call live from the A1 and then the A19 (too much detail – possibly) to let us know.

The lads catch up with Jonny from Boro Breakdown and discuss the 100 year game at the Vic this season and we investigate Boro's season and the parting of Chris Wilder and the appointment of Michael Carrick. We find out what Boro would like in the transfer window and the reason they haven't yet seen much of Watford connected Cameron Archer. We also find out why you shouldn't throw a tennis ball near age defying Boro midfielder Howson and why Watford born Gareth Southgate is welcome not only in Middlesbrough but also Jonny's house!
Finally and reluctantly predictions are made - one things for sure - it won't end a draw!

Justin, Carl & Pete discuss the transfer window to date - especially Henrique Araujo and all agree none of us can pronounce his name.
Most of the podcast we discuss and try to come up with some suggestions in response to the reports that flasks and food are now being searched for and prevented being taken into the Vic due to safety concerns. If food and flasks are now banned then we look at the quality and cost of the food provided with a more critical eye.
This action taken by the club during a cost of living crisis and during winter feels like a misstep from a club that has often favoured well in both the community aspects and the overall costs of attending football - and we hope that they will take steps to correct it.

The sad passing of Rotherham United fan Henry Evans at the age of 18 was commemorated with a minutes applause on the 18th minute - all at DNSYE and Watford send our condolences to his friends and family - RIP
We look back at the second 1-1 versus the Millers this season and realise that the automatic positions are most likely beyond us, however getting into the play off spaces is still a tall order with the cramped league table we discuss this and lots more plus Virginia gets another mention as Jack is added to Jimmy's call from last week and then Jimmy calls in with some exciting news about coming to a game.
We chat with Rich, Wendover Horn and Mrs Wendover Horn about the game and the squad depth and transfer window. Uncle Ron tells us things aren't too bad and we speak to birthday boy Mal - on his 64th birthday.

We quiz Matt from the "New York Talk" about Rotherham's season since they lost their manager of 6 years and until last Saturday were in a bit of a spiral downwards. We cover transfer activities, the reverse fixture, Martins similarity to an EastEnders character and how sick Villareal must be feeling when it turned out MArio Gaspar was a midfielder all along, Justin gets to pick before Carl but still complains about everything and Carl claims to be winning the prediction league because of alphabetical order - all may change if Matt from RUFC grabs another 3 points for the EFL like he did last time!!!!!

PART TWO
More fan reaction after the 2-0 Blackpool triumph that saw the most poignant goal of the season scored in the most poignant moment of the season as 17 year old Tobi Adeyemo put Watford a goal up on the 72nd minute - the very minute we celebrate the life of the greatest individual the club has ever known - Mr. Graham Taylor.
Apologies to Mal and Alex but the signal/car noise wasn't great so had to (begrudgingly) not include your calls - do go to the Twitter Space recording for those.

PART ONE
Everything a Hornet could want from a game of football. Graham Taylor match day - tick. Gianluca Vialli tribute - tick. Decimated squad still - tick. Choudhury back in midfield - tick. Youth players in the squad - tick. Tactical plus personnel change at half time - tick. 17 year old scores on debut on the 72nd minute - tick. Sarr scores penalty - tick. Referee is still a twat and then some - tick tick tickety tick!
Loads to unpack - loads to chat about - Pete tries to get everyone to work out who was man of the match and he completely fails to get a consensus as most people had a really good game, Bayo's slow walk to freedom doesn't go down well when being subbed - but calm voices remind us that he tried, He scored against Norwich and he was probably disappointed at being taken off - but still.
The story of the day though is 17 year old Tobi Adeyemo scoring on his league debut and a host of young players doing well. Cathcart is outstanding, people are asking if Kamara can walk back into the starting 11 after James Morris continues to improve, Kone in midfield gives us tempo and progressive passing, Sarr is running with the ball again AND we had a tricky Brazilian winger make his debut and get involved in the two goals - like we said a lot to unpack and this is just part one!!

Here is the Opposition View with Blackpool – well sort of…. Pete asked for the tale of the Oyston family ownership and what followed was, depending on your position, a cautionary tale about ensuring club ownership is not allowed to operate unchecked or the biggest "be careful what you wish for" - or very possibly both. There's also a succession of nonsense per normal including what Bloomfield Road and IKEA have in common! Plus, we find out what Pete would bring to the midfield in the event of having to play and Carl tells us a lot about concrete

On the eve of the 6th anniversary of his passing we wanted to put together just some of the memories of Graham that were told to us during player interviews (there are an awful lot more scattered over the interviews we've done) where players remember things about the great man from first impressions through to why it was so important that he was nice to Alan Smart (on a completely human level who was fretting) over his possible transfer to the Hornets.
Some people won't remember but in one of his programme notes he responded to a fan who had shouted out "Sort it out Taylor!" (or words to that effect) - his notes were that he had been at the club for a while and that surely we should all be on first name terms - so here are some memories of Graham.
Best wishes to his family - always.
