It is officially peak spooky season and we are celebrating with an episode on probably the most iconic Halloween movie ever made, and quite possibly Bette Midler's most impressive work of art. Is Hocus Pocus worth the hype or does millennial nostalgia ruin the party once again? Or do you, like Brigitta, know nothing about this movie...? 

What do we actually think of the new Downton Abbey movie? Is it a Mr. Carson (a gem) or a Mr. Bates (whatever the opposite of a gem is)? Julian Fellowe's television masterpiece is certainly fun to watch and beautiful, but do we actually like it? Well you will have to listen to find out....

O'zapft is! Gather around beer-drinkers one and all for today we are talking about Oktoberfest (with a k). Home of beer in giant glass mugs, over-sized pretzels, carnival rides, and giant tents full of drunk Bavarians. So grab a beverage and snack of choice, don your lederhosen or dirndl and settle in! Let Brigitta regale you with some of the history of Oktoberfest, while Andrea tells you all about the brewery tents and exactly how many swimming pools of beer are drunk at the world's biggest volksfest every year.

We are of course talking about T Swizzle, the women behind about a million songs Brigitta can't name but could maybe sing a long to (Andrea has actual opinions about the music, don't worry). But the most important questions is, is Taylor Swift actually a surrealist performance artist conning us all?

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune must be in want of... an episode about Pride and Prejudice? If you have always loved Lizzie Bennet’s wit, Fitzwilliam Darcy’s brooding good looks, and the slightly alarming off-kilter ways Mrs Bennet, then boy do we have the episode for you!Follow us on a journey back to regency England, where we would have both been considered unaccomplished spinsters, almost certainly died of some horrible disease, and given the chance definitely would have run off with a member of the militia, regardless of the scandal it would have caused.
