As horrific attacks continue in Syria, we speak to a French medic who's been training doctors there in much-needed emergency medicine. Just back from the region, French doctor Raphael Pitti tells us more about the desperate humanitarian situation in Syria, particularly in Aleppo, and the difficulties met by medical teams on the ground. He condemns the destruction of hospitals and the targeting and killing of doctors as a war crime and a crime against humanity. We also head to Turkey. As the country's economy flounders, a patriotic push is under way to try to boost the currency. Small businesses are offering free goods and services to those who heed President Erdogan's call to exchange their foreign currency for the downtrodden Turkish lira. Our journalist Mariam Saab finds out more.

Finally, we bring you a report from the Gaza Strip, where residents are complaining it's risky for them to be much further than a kilometre and a half from the Israeli border. That's making life hard for farmers whose land lies on the edge of the Strip. Our correspondents Jimmy Hutcheon and Nicolas Ropert give us more details.
