Chris White interviewed me a few years ago on his program to respond to pretrib teacher Jimmy DeYoung on certain pretrib objections to prewrath. I played a brief clip from this interview covering the common pretrib claim that John 14:1–3 teaches a pretrib rapture to which I replied. I discussed the pretrib assumption that disconnects the rapture from the second coming. They have to make this flawed move in order to maintain pretribulationism.

I also demonstrated that Scripture teaches that the rapture is one of the first divine events of the second coming (parousia) with an explanation of the meaning of the Greek word parousia.
