Mars, planet of action, energy, motivation, and drive, has been retrograde since December 6th, 2024. You may have felt a bit more stuck than usual, like your usual spark and drive is lower and like you’ve been running on fumes. For some of us, it’s meant more conflicts in a certain part of our lives, or that we’ve been super-focusing on a specific project while Mars has been retrograde. For many of us, it’s been a time to re-consider where we’re putting our energy. Mars is going direct on February 23rd, 2025, and we’ll start to slowly feel like we’re getting our mojo back. In this video, I talk about Mars Retrograde in Leo and Cancer, and a forecast for each Rising Sign on what to expect when Mars goes direct. Not only is the Full Moon in Leo big, in-your-face, and dramatic, but it also might coincide with an urge to rebel against the status quo, or to try to something different. In more extreme cases, the Full Moon may bring a shocking, sudden twist to wherever you have 23 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Aquarius, or Scorpio in your birth chart.

The Astrology of the first weekend of February 2025 brings us a potent, intoxicating, romantic energy, due to the conjunction of Venus, planet of love and beauty, with Neptune, planet of higher consciousness, both in Pisces. These will be conjunct the North Node, the point of fate, desire, and hunger.

The New Moon in Aquarius is about the audacity of holding on to hope and optimism in an increasingly dark and uncertain world.

This New Moon is making a gorgeous aspect to Jupiter, the planet of optimism and growth. So on a personal level, this New Moon is quite fortunate. In this video, you’ll learn about this energy, how to work with it, and get a reading for your sign.

Make sure to watch your Rising sign horoscope after the general overview, then you can incorporate your Sun or Moon sign if you would like.

Mars Retrograde in Cancer is one of the major definitive Astrological transits of 2025. The planet of action, passion, and conflict stationed retrograded on December 6th in the sign of Leo and entered into Cancer on January 6th, where it will remain on its retrograde journey until February 23rd. Even after it stations direct, it will be in the sign of Cancer until mid-April. ♋️

The first Full Moon of 2025 is an intense one!

The Full Moon occurs on January 13th in the nurturing, emotional Sign of Cancer. Normally the Moon here feels right at home in watery Cancer, however this lunation is tightly conjunct Mars, the fiery planet of anger, passion, and war. (Mars is also currently retrograde as well!)

The Full Moon in Gemini occurs right while Mercury, the ruling planet of Gemini ends its retrograde journey. This is a buys, mentally-stimulating Full Moon that can bring a glimmer of clarity to some otherwise messy Astrological skies.

Meanwhile, Mars, the planet of action and passion, is just beginning its retrograde cycle in Leo. In this video, I discuss the Full Moon Astrology for each sign, plus Mars Retrograde. Note that in the horoscope section, it’s most accurate to use your Rising/Ascendant Sign.

In this podcast, Alexander discusses the Astrology of the New Moon in Sagittarius, occurring on December 1st. Alexander also does horoscopes for every Rising Sign. If you don’t know your rising sign, listen for your Sun or Moon instead.

This New Moon in Sagittarius occurs during Mercury Retrograde, also in Sagittarius. This New Moon offers passion, courage, and the opportunity to create something new in our life - something that feels different from what we’re used to, or something off the beaten path.

With Mercury, the planet of communication in its retrograde cycle, it may offer us a fresh perspective and the ability to shift our thinking. It also may help us take advantage of an opportunity that we left unfinished or revisit something from the past.
