In today’s final hour, Broad and Liberty investigative reporter Todd Shepherd returns to the Dom Giordano Program to tell us about a testimony he gave to the Pennsylvania legislature explaining how money infiltrated election offices in 2020. Shepherd tells us what he’s learned about voter registration in Delaware County, noting incredible increases by Democrats after a large influx of money, and tells what he hopes comes out of his testifying. Then, Councilperson Cherelle Parker returns to the Dom Giordano Program to discuss the decision by Mayor Kenney to end the residency requirement for Philadelphia police. First, Giordano asks Parker for her thoughts on the Mayor’s decision to rescind the requirement, with Parker explaining that there was previously a waiver available, but tells that Mayor did exactly what she said last time she appeared on the Program.
