To wrap things up, we discuss the dark and slightly smoky CASCADIAN BLACK ALE.

In the fifth entry of the bonus 'COLD SHOT' series, John tries out a seasonal Xmas season beer (don't worry, should be back again in a few months!), the Holiday Cheers Winter Spice Ale. John spends a little bit of time recapping Big Rock (who we have discussed on various episodes) before drinking and reviewing the beer.

This week on Domestic Pints ONLY, Tom and John sample beers from the popular Toronto brewery, HENDERSON BREWING! We discuss the origins of this brewery and give some notes and context, and then sample the first beer: FOOD TRUCK Lagered Blonde! Up next is the popular flagship beer, HENDERSON'S BEST AMBER ALE. And last but not least, we GUSH about RUSH CANADIAN GOLDEN ALE, which is an official collaboration release between Henderson and the legendary Canadian rock band Rush. Tom and John also spend a lot of time discussing the band and our previous experiences seeing them live together.

At the end, we give the scores. This was a great episode with some surprises (for the good). Next week we are joined by a special guest to sample some more craft beers from Edmonton. Stay tuned!

On this week's episode of Domestic Pints ONLY, Tom and John and taking you to the Muskokas to sample beers from Lake of Bays Brewing Company, located in Baysville, ON. First we discuss the brewery before drinking the session IPA PADDLE ON *to the tune of 'Ramble On'*. Next up we discuss the crispy pilsner SWITCHBACK before ending it off with the New England IPA STARBOARD. Along the way we also chat a bit about the NBA playoffs, the definition of the word 'heirloom', and talk about boats. Overall it was a solid episode with tasty beers. Hey folks! Tom and John are back again with a new episode of Domestic Pints ONLY, where we discuss another lineup of domestic light beers. First up is the perfect beer for the cottage season, CRACKED CANOE by Moosehead. Our next selection is a classic Canadian beer dating back to 1983, it is also widely popular in the Northeast USA - it's Labatt BLUE LIGHT! We also spend some time discussing Corn Pops and other breakfast cereal. We wrap up with another selection from Carling: CARLING LIGHT. There's also some extended discussion around Boston Pizza.
