No matter who we are or how strong we may feel at times, we are all prone to grow weary in our own human strength. The circumstances of life can feel heavy. When we think "business" is equivalent to "productivity", it can be easy to run ourselves exhausted. When we associate our identity and worth with what we do, it can be very easy to become tired very quickly. When we believe the lies of the enemy that the work we are doing isn't making an impact, it can be very discouraging. There are so many different avenues in which we find ourselves growing weary, but in Isaiah 40 that God "does not grow faint or weary" so it is through resting in Him that we can be strengthened and refreshed.
