After losing my most recent girlfriend to her mental illness I've become obsessed with figuring out how we can beat that voice in our head. Our demons can be depression, insecurities, negligence, fears and even hunger. I've discovered that most simplistic way to start exercising our mind is do a fast. Weather its 4 hours or 23, when your mind tell you your hungry, you tell it to STFU. As time goes on your mentality will get stronger. You realize there's a lot of things in life you can go without; and eventually your mental toughness will ascend to a level where you can finally face your major demons. Your depression, anxiety, whatever demons you have will try to talk to you, you'll be able to look them in eye and break free from their grip.
