Things did not start off so well for the Colorado Avalanche in their big early season matchup with the Dallas Stars. The scoreboard read 3-0, but the Avalanche were not playing that bad to be down by three. One team was converting chances, and the other was not.

Then that other team started to convert chances. Then another, and another, and another.

Once the Avs got going there was little the Stars could do to stop the bleeding. Six straight goals later the Avalanche had their biggest win of the season so far.
