Thirty-seven-year-old convenience store clerk Barbara Jean Robelen was reported missing from the 7-11 store on Experimental Farm Road and US 41 in Palmetto, Florida on October 27, 1978. Three months later, her body was found in a ditch a little over 2 miles away on a desolate, dirt road.

The body of 65-year-old Harry Wolfe was found in the cab of his pickup truck in the Skaggs Albertson’s parking lot across from the DeSoto Mall in Bradenton Florida on April 21, 1977. He had been shot in the head multiple times. No motive or suspect was ever identified.

On December 12, 1974, 33-year-old Diane Eva Love, was standing in the middle of a Christmas tree lot - which was located at the east end of Montgomery Wards parking lot at Cortez Rd and US 41 in Bradenton, Fl. - when she was shot and killed by an unknown assailant. Love was with her husband and 10-year-old daughter shopping for a tree when she was killed.
