    Title: Life After Heaven
Subtitle: How My Time in Heaven Can Transform Your Life on Earth
Author: Steven R. Musick, Paul J. Pastor
    Narrator: Arthur Morey
    Format: Unabridged
Length: 5 hrs and 50 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 03-07-17
    Publisher: Random House Audio
Ratings: 5 of 5 out of 26 votes
    Genres: Religion & Spirituality, Christianity
    Publisher's Summary:
A deadly medical mistake sent a navy sailor to the presence of Jesus in heaven. He returned from his near-death experience with new eyes to see the kingdom of heaven in this life. Now he wants to help you experience heaven on earth today.
For years Steve Musick kept his amazing story to himself, afraid no one would believe or understand it. A major allergic reaction had stopped his heart, hurling him into a five-week coma and powerful experience of heaven. After returning to life, he couldn't forget the memory of that vibrant place - and, most of all, the loving words and touch of Jesus.
But that was only the beginning. An amazing series of miracles, dreams, and other supernatural events had been set in motion, showing Steve that heaven was close, even in this life. God was calling him to discover echoes of heaven in the here and now - echoes that can happen at any moment, to anyone - that bring overwhelming joy.
At last Steve is ready to tell the story of his journey of a lifetime - two lifetimes. In it you'll learn the secret of bringing heaven to earth in your everyday world and how to nurture a relationship with God so real and intimate that you'll feel his nearness as strongly as Steve did.
Experience one man's incredible vision of heaven - and learn how to live in God's presence and power in your own life now.
    Critic Reviews:
"When my wife and I first met Steve Musick, we had a quiet hunch that this man had something in his life that put him in a rare category. We could not figure it out until he shared all of his story with us. He is a man of unusual depth, care, honesty, and relational brilliance - qualities that I know come from what you will read about here. Having been invited to be his whole-life mentor, I trust his story in every detail. He relives his time with Jesus daily and shares it through every encounter he has with others. One caution: prepare for your own life to experience some welcome, needed change and growth as you encounter Jesus in these pages of deep truth and life-giving love." (Wes Roberts, founder/master mentor, Leadership Design Group)
"My dear friend Steve Musick is not an angel, but he is an ambassador sent back to us from 'Our Father which art in heaven' to show-and-tell us what we've been missing here 'in earth, as it is in heaven'. Reading this book will give you a window to look through and a map to follow so you can experience your own moments in life when heaven touches earth." (Dennis Turner, founder and lead pastor of Christ Church, Wichita, Kansas)
    "As I read
Life After Heaven, I happened to be mourning the loss of my dear father-in-law, Cowboy Ken, who joined his savior in the coming world, a world described in gorgeous detail by Steven Musick. I found deep comfort in Steven's eyewitness account as I imagined my loved ones experiencing the rich, saturated sensations and fathomless love and peace in heaven. But this book goes beyond just describing heaven. It encourages, energizes, and brings zest, power, and hope to us in the here and now. I find myself watching and waiting for 'bubbles of heaven', the 'beautiful closeness of the kingdom of heaven', to break through and change everything.

    Thought Provoking
The content is on the whole fairly sound in my opinion although there are things I need to study further. The reading performance was okay and I would recommend that this is read at least once a year whether married or looking forward to marriage.

    excellent performance and short
Morgan Freeman's voice is great. Excellent short reading of Christ's birth. Great length for kids without all of the bells and whistles of a kids book.
    great book for the holidays
I found this as I was looking for an audio of the nativity. It was better than I was hoping to find. The music is beautiful and Morgan Freeman does a great job narrating it. I listened to it twice on Christmas and it inspired me to go back and read the stories from the Bible. Listening to it will be part of my holiday tradition.

John G. Lake walked with the Holy Spirit and sought after him ever so carefully. He was a man of study and wanted to know how God healed the sick and how Christ worked through man by the Spirit's involvement.
This book is a compilation of Mr. Lakes own sermons on the subject of the Holy Spirit. Each is filled with divine wisdom and revelation, and should truly help us understand the wonderful third person of the Trinity - the Holy Spirit.

Great testimonials and things to make you reevaluate how you think about the Holy Spirit.
I really enjoyed the audio book but the narrator sounds a bit robotic at times.
    Sad narration
Theatrics in narration detracted from listening quality; emphasis placed in wrong place and gave artificial flavor to presentation. I found it irritating.
A classic on the Holy Spirit!
Very many good points! (some might be more "explored" today). You'll find some very Wonderful testimonies!! Narrators talks a bit weird to listen to...

John G. Lake was a man of God who had a deep understanding of divine healing. His childhood was filled with death and sickness, but the Lord used such to provoke a desire to see the works of the devil conquered and destroyed. This book contains the words of John G. Lake as he tells the stories of miraculous healings and the explanations behind the results. Backed with scripture, this book should aid the hungry soul to see the divine healing Jesus desires for all of us.
Be blessed my friend as you listen to this book!
    Members Reviews:
it's exactly what I expected it to be
I wanted to know what John G Lake had to say about healing. This book told me exactly what I wanted to know and understand from his perspective.
From a narration standpoint it was awful.
The narration was terrible. Some of the teaching was good and really on point, but there was also some doctrine that was unsound...for instance he compares the use of medicine to the sin of adultery...yet uses one scripture out of context to back up this claim and then goes on a whole chapter. Narration was the worst I've ever heard. There was some good truth in the book...but mixed with the bad it really concerns me.
A Bible journey of the gift of healing
Though in my 60s I am a new believer and I read the Bible for the very first time this past year. In so doing I discovered the importance of healing in Jesuss ministry and that all believers have the ability to heal in Jesus name. That was s revelation for me. This book was written in the early 1900s yet I found that was a very helpful primer on the gift of healing. While I didnt particularly like the narrator of the book I found the content was strong enough that I to get past that. I can highly recommend the book to those like me who are new to concept of the gift of
healing and are wanting to know more about it.
    Excellent!
William Crockett does an amazing job bringing John G lakes words to life. this book is so inspiring, I'm a Christian and I need to live my life as one! Praise God!
    God's chosen man-John G Lake.
Blessed.would like to listen again and again to be more taken by it.A grate hope for me who is looking for devine healing of my husband.

    Publisher's Summary:
In 2006, Christianity Today voted The God Who Is There as one of the top 50 books that have shaped evangelicals.
For decades, The God Who Is There has been the landmark book that changed the way the church sees the world. In Francis Schaeffer's remarkable analysis, we learn where the clashing ideas about God, science, history, and art came from and where they are going. This edition includes a foreword by James W. Sire that places Schaeffer's seminal work in the context of the intellectual turbulence of the early 21st century.
More than ever, The God Who Is There demonstrates how historic Christianity can fearlessly confront the competing philosophies of the world. The God who has always been there continues to provide the anchor of truth and the power of love to meet the world's deepest problems.

    The Relevant,Loving God
Crystal-clear solid bible-based, accurate and thourough expostulation about the God who IS , and the historical efficacy in comparison to the socialistic/humanistic/psychologic counterparts. I learned SO much, and had my faith strengthened and affirmed over and over. I found it best to read this in "bites", so that I could slowly digest and assimilate the material, which is EXTREMELY powerful. You may not agree totally, but you will see God clearer, and stand firmer in your faith in Him as never before.
great book , not so great narrator
The content was terrific. Narrator was too choppy for my taste. I often found it difficult to follow the book's thought patterns because of the stilted delivery
    Brilliant
A must read for anyone serious about answering the hopelessness brought about by rationalism in the modern age; as relevant now as it was in the late 60's.
Superb content with well done narration!
Schaeffer communicates deep concepts wonderfully well and the narrator delivers it splendidly. Immediately listened to it again a 2nd time at 1.5X speed to further solidify the depths that were plumbed.

Faith is an amazing thing. The Lord Jesus said if we would have faith as a mustard seed, we could tell a mountain to be removed - even have it cast into the sea.
Few men have shown this to be true like Smith Wigglesworth. I believe God raised this man up for us to see the possibilities that faith brings in a world of doubt and sickness. It is no small thing to perform a miracle, but God in us can do such a thing.
Friends, let us learn from this man and grow in our faith. God is with us if Jesus is in us, so let us rise up to our mighty calling and make our Father proud by exhibiting true faith!

    Horrible Narration
What would have made Ever Increasing Faith better?
Ever Increasing Faith is a super fantastic book, however the narration is horrible. The voice super pronounces each word and the result is a lack of flow and rhythm that makes listening to this unbearable. Really wish all of Smith Wigglesworth's stuff could be done over again with a decent narrator.
Would you ever listen to anything by Smith Wigglesworth again?
Only if there was a different narrator
How could the performance have been better?
    different narrator
What character would you cut from Ever Increasing Faith?
    the current narrator
    Any additional comments?

    Narration
I loved the book but I'm not sure why narrators are so monotone and unexciting. It makes it easy to "put the book down and stop reading" but the content kept me coming back. :)
    Good book, TERRIBLE narration
I'm sure this book is great but the horrible narration makes it unreadable. Every word is painfully over-pronounced.
    Excellent book
    really liked it
Narration Very Good Clear and Direct
anything about Smith Wiggleworth is always a Blessing and Learning Tool and Faith Builder
    Very Interesting and Encouraging
Don't let the narration keep you from the valuable and interesting teaching and real-world accounts.
