Very Well Developed

These were two very well written stories filled with kidnappings, murder, romance, and lots of plot twist. They both kept me listening until the end and there were no sex scenes and no cussing, You could feel the action, and know that something else was going to happen. I can't wait to listen to the next book in this series. I especially loved the chase scene in book two and the redemption of Chance. The narrator was perfect for the book. This author is fast becoming one of my favorite. Loved how faith and God are woven throughout the book. There are not enough books like this one. The action and suspense are all there. Sweet story

I enjoyed reading this story about a middle aged woman who had been barren most of her marriage and whose husband was terminally ill. When her husband died her mother shows up on her doorstep. Her mothers demands appear to be unreasonable but does she have other ideas ? It is a quick read and very enjoyable

A Pregnant Widow's Amish Vacation book 7 by Samantha Price is wonderful as usual .

If you are ready for a story about a person that is sent on a vacation and is very upset that this was being done to her.

Jane has a job that she feels only that she is able to do an worse yet she has this feeling that there is a person in her area that wants her job, she is the only women amongst five men.

Then this forced vacation is put on her an she has no idea why it is happening now of all times. Her boss and her co-workers feel that with the lost of her husband an her job that she needs to get away for at least a month. She had no choice to go or even were she was being sent, it was a surprise an not a happy one.

Time passes an she is calming down an starting to enjoy it things have not turned out to bad but she is still not fully happy

This is a very different story an now it is time for you to go out an get the book an find out all the awesome things or not, but I will tell you that if you don't read you will be the sorry one.

After being pushed into getting this book, let the author know an then make a review of your own feelings about this book, mine are it is a awesome story now I want to see how others felt about it.

Awesome story. You won't be sorry you read it. I never tire reading about the Amish. Their lives aren't always perfect as one would think. The go through trials and tribulations as anyone else. Some of the story's are true and some not but still enjoyable but I only read the one that are at least 175 pages and prefer the longer ones. Enjoy! GAB

Love's Prayer is the first installment in the First Street Church Romances by veteran author Melissa Storm. The book focus on Ben Davis, a young man in small town Texas trying to overcome a rough hand in life. His brother committed suicide in the middle of town, leaving him alone with his alcoholic mother and no choice but to abandon his dreams of college and stay home to take care of her.

His depression at an all time high, Ben plans on following his brother when he sends up a prayer to a god he doesn't really believe in.

The answer to that prayer is Summer Smith. In town for the summer to help her aunt, the two meet and become fast friends. Summer's need to help people, and figure out her own path in life, both bring them to love, and almost drive them apart.

Love's Prayer is a sweet romance with some dramatic themes. Well written, it's a quick and engaging read. I loved the fact the story was built on interpersonal relationships, not sex. The main characters fell in love slowly and honestly. They were real, and Summer was a strong woman not willing to sacrifice her beliefs. It was a welcome change of pace, and I will certainly be finishing the rest of the series. Melissa Storm is a pro at character development, and it shows.

I read this book at just the right time. It left me with a reawakened sense of hope, and really made me think. When an author touches my soul that way, you can bet I want to sing their praises.

During this they also learn compassion and are able to help Ben's mom fight through her depression and addiction to begin living again.

Amish Widow's Faith is book three of this series of the Expectant Widows Series by Samantha Price.

This is a very interesting book. Emily Kauffman, has a talent that others really are not sure if they approve of it, but Emily doesn't really care if they do or not, when she sees how friends look at each other, she starts thinking what a great pair they will make. One thing before she really sets out to put them together. she watches to see how they really act around each other an if it looks like it will, then she finds way to get them together.

Emily still lives at home with her father an her sister, Deborah, has also moved back home because her husband has passed an he was very sick before he died. Deborah is also going to have a baby an everyone thought it better that she moves back home so there is always someone there to help her out.

Emily knows that her sister doesn't plan on ever getting married again but she sticks in the back of her mind, she won't give up if she see anything.

Emily is too busy working on helping others find a husband or wife until one day she is having a talk with her sister an Deborah says, have you ever given Tom a thought? Why would I even think about him, he is around here all the time to help their dad out. Why would you bring this up about Tom are you thinking about him, Deborah oh no I was just wondering how you really felt about him an how you would feel if he was ever to get married or leave the community.

I have never really worried about such a thing happening with Tom, well I think you should think about it, I see how you around him. Later that night Emily thinks about it but never said any more about it to her sister.

Many things go on without Emily thinking about her talk with her sister, there are wedding going on an Emily knows that she has helped in some of them,

It is time for everyone to get this book and read an enjoy every word of it an then let the author know an also make a review letting others know what you thought about how Emily and her sister were doing in their life. Let others know your true feeling and encourage others to read,

Another good Amish series

I never heard of an Amish matchmaker but Emily definitely was one. This is a great book and the storyline was well thought out. At one point I never thought Emily would fall in love with Tom or that Deborah would remarry after her husbands untimely death and the birth of her son.

Another Great Book!

I am begining to appreciate Samantha Price's Amish collections more and more, with each book I read!

This is a truly wonderful story of not one but several couples finding love. A widow with a baby finds that she has the capacity to love again.

I hope you really enjoy it!

An okay story-Nothing fabulous!

All in all, an acceptable, clean read or audio book. The lead character acted pretty childish on multiple occasions and wondered why she was treated like one by both her parents. *Spoiler*: Hard to believe that she would not know she was pregnant @ 5 months, when the baby would have been moving. I probably would not have purchased this audio book, if it had not been so economical ($$).

This is the second book in this series. The series is about going through life's trials and disappointments, reaching out to God. This series focuses on marriage, this is such a great series on how to put God in your marriage as the head of the marriage. Every couple should have to read this. I would live to think it would change people's lives and enrich them with so much that they will see the light at the end of a tunnel and its not the train.

This particular book in the series deals with infidelity. You can over come all things; with GOD!

There is a great story that I recommend to everyone who needs a little lift to get past a rocky spot, or just to strengthen what you already have.

It takes three to make a strong marriage

I enjoyed this story about fidelity in a marriage. "Cheating" is not just physical but can also be emotional. Any kind of break in the marriage vows can be devastating to a marriage. I like how the showed the need to make God a priority and to be guided by Him.

Loved this

Loved this book. Imperfect people in a imperfect work. Anyone who has been married for a while and people seeking a life long marriage need to read this. It reminded me of so many truths I knew long ago...but somewhere became back burner problems that I didn't cast aside. I needed this book. Looking forward to reading more from this author who touched my soul and reminded me of so many things

Found this book, even though a work of fiction, to be very relevant to today, both in Christian and non-Christian marriages. Everything covered, lack of communication, spousal consideration, or lack thereof, hidden acts, deception and lies will kill any relationship, let alone a marriage. I appreciate how T.K. Chapin told this story not just disclosing marital infidelities but revealing how a marriage can be restored. It was not done easily, as the case would be in real life situations. Rather it took much soul searching on both parts, softening of hearts and wills and the intervention of others to help the restoration process. This book leaves the reader with hope for willing hearts, which is a much needed commodity today.

What does Becky Doughty bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

I really like how Becky Doughty brings the characters to life with unique voices for them. It really brings the interactions to life and makes what was already a great book even greater!

Any additional comments?

Another winner from Valerie Comer and a great finish to her Farm Fresh Romances! While I really enjoyed the first three books in this series and happily gave them each 5 stars, the last three have been even better - delving much deeper into issues of faith - and, I feel that, to be fair, I need to give them 7 or 8 stars each!

In all seriousness, I love how this book delves into the nitty-gritty issues of hard forgiveness. I appreciated how it was true-to-life (rather than logical!) about how some parts of forgiving sometimes happen inexplicably quickly and you're just "over it" while other parts are agonizingly slow and no matter how hard you try, it feels impossible to talk yourself through them. I also really appreciated how this book did not minimize the reality of the consequences that come with bad choices and how we often have to deal with those consequences for the rest of our lives but that God also often surprises us with ridiculous joy in the midst of and even because of those very consequences.

I also thought that Comer did a good job keeping the main character just likeable enough throughout the parts of the book where she was hanging on to her bitterness and unforgiveness. While there were definitely places in the book where I did not like her much, I never stopped rooting for her. I think that's a very fine line for an author to walk and this book managed it well.

My favorite parts of this book were the community scenes. I have come to love the people who make up Green Acres and I crave the kind of community they created in this series. I especially love the children and how they have grown and how the community has changed because of them without losing any of their depth and closeness. Oh, to live in a place like Green Acres! I will miss these people in this series so much, but I also find myself really excited to meet Comer's next crew in her upcoming series set in the city of Spokane! Being more of a city girl myself, I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of community happens in the city-setting of this series.

Great Story of Forgiveness

I had a hard time getting started with this book, but the ending was worth the perseverance. I loved the strands of forgiveness and unconditional love throughout the book. I enjoyed the faith that was represented in this book.
