heart breakingly beautiful book!

Have you ever had to hide out in the bathroom to cry so ur husband couldn't hear ur sobs and think you have lost your mind. Well this girl did. This book I think I cried only a half a million times.

Love triangles get me everytime!

I have to say at the beginning of this book I was so ready for her to be done with Jesse. I was totally Team Alex almost half the way through the book. But then I started feeling so bad for him that I cried and cried and just wanted her to be with him. It was the way the author writes the story that made me feel so much hurt for each character. I felt like my heart was being ripped out with the rest of them.

Alex was such a wonderful character never letting anything get in the way of his love for her he would do anything for her.

Jesse was controlling didn't put her needs before his own. Until it was to late to come back from it..or was it? Sorry no major spoilers here!!

I enjoyed watching Isabel grow from being young and in love and giving up herself in the process. To learning that she shouldn't have to give herself up to be loved whole heartily.

I feel like both men loved her so much. Just one didn't take advantage of that love.

I really don't know at this point what team I'm on I'm broken hearted for both men.

I will review the ebook separately since I had to buy it, because the narrator for the audio was so awful. To say her voice, pronunciations, and intonation were annoying is putting it mildly.

What did you love best about Finding Me?

I loved the sweet love story between Bella and Owen. Lauren Sweet brought the characters to life perfectly!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Owen of course! OT is a thoughtful, swoon worthy, hockey playing gentleman with a heart of gold. He'll definitely be inducted into the book boyfriend hall of fame.

What does Lauren Sweet bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

Owen's southern drawl! It was perfect and really added to his charm and character!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I don't want to spoil the book/audio for any one, so I'll call it the conflict between Owen and Bella at his apartment the morning after the game with the hockey scout and the aftermath that followed. My heart definitely hurt for both of them as they tried to figure things out.

Any additional comments?

This was a very sweet and swoony romance with a wonderful cast of characters! I loved the story and narration and hope to listen to more titles from Stephanie Rose in the future!

Sweet Contemporary Romance

Bella has been burned by her Dad & Ex-boyfriend. Her Dad left her when she was young but her stepfather has taken care of her like she is his own. Her ex-boyfriend has humiliated her in front of her whole high school by cheating on her while away at college and having pics posted online where everyone could see.

When Bella leaves for college, she decides to keep guys at a distance but Owen slowly breaks her wall piece by piece. Owen is a sweet hockey player that steals her heart. There are some ups and downs but it concludes with a sweet HEA.

The narrator does a fairly good job bringing the story to life. Owen's accent was great and very fitting.

I'm looking forward to listening to more books by this talented author.

A Sweet Romance

I got this book via audiobook boom. I have always liked sweet romances that the H and h are nice characters. Owen and Bella's story is one of those. They meet in a class that Owen is having trouble with and he gets Bella to tutor him. The romance is up and down but Owen is very determined and does not allow Bella to get away. I really liked that the narrator was understated. She allowed the story to speak for itself.

I wasn`t aware that fairies farted on pillows....

What did you love best about Finding Me?

The writing was beautiful and Lauren did a wonderful job narrating. I was drawn in wanting to know what was going to take place next.

Fun Adventure & Sweet Romance

This audiobook is a short story about an intelligent archeologist working on her Doctoral Thesis and a wealthy Sheikh. It's a pretty fast romance but an enjoyable story.

The narrator did a fairly good job bringing the story to life.

There is adventure, drama, betrayal and romance. Sweet Romance with a HEA and no Cliffhangers.

Cute Story

The author, Leslie North, did a great job of writing a fairly short romance story that takes place in the middle east. Fleur is such a down-to-earth, young, beautiful lady that isn't all that sophisticated. Masoud is rich, handsome, but not really interested in finding a wife. Fleur brings excitement to his bored life. Nice, wholesome book. The narrator did a good job of distinguishing between the characters. Enjoyed this little romance.

Ok

This book was narrated by a woman who's voice sounded like a teenager. It was too soft and did not engage me in the story. This was a quick read and it appears that the story was quickly done as well. Perhaps with a different narrator, I would have gotten more out of it. Three bored sons at a party make a bet on who will be the last one to marry. Then one of them has the woman who has sneaked onto their land is given a bath and taken to dinner in the mine. She is scatterbrained and talks throughout the entire meal. This is their love story. Only three plus hours so if you have nothing else to do and want a quick love story filled with a history lesson then listen to this. I got this book via audiobook boom.

Highly entertaining

I enjoyed this audiobook very much. I especially enjoy audiobooks with more than one narrator and this one does a good job by both narrators in bringing the story and characters to life.

It's a whole, big, world to discover~

Three brothers and three sisters and all romance Between Two Worlds. The English world and the Amish. this was not just a romance it was also a learning story and a curve to how far someone would go to bring them back home. I really did enjoy the story and all of the characters. Now we just have to look into what book is next because obviously the story is not finished.

Didn't light a spark

I think the author has a "voice" worth being heard and would read/listen to another of her books. However I think this book would have been better with fewer subplots, there were just too many. The story would have been improved if she had concentrated more on Jules and Lexa's relationship and made the arsonist story more compelling. I also thought the narrator detracted from the book because I did not like how she portrayed Jules.

Not for me

I'm sorry I just cant with this book. There is basically nothing I liked about it. This was a short read and I am usually ok with instalove in a short book but nothing about this couple worked for me. They were together for literally like a hour and the hero is talking about the heroine being his girlfriend. She doesn't even live in the same city. The whole romance was just too much. The BDSM elements did not work for me. Jules being a dominant didn't work for me. I think this book tried to put too much in a short story. There was nothing I liked about Jules. I couldn't tell if he wanted a girlfriend or a pet because all he did was basically boss Lexa around and get mad when she didn't do what he thought she should do. I feel like this story could have been better because it had the bones to it. The writing wasn't bad, just the elements of the story were. I would be willing to read another book from this author but I would not recommend this book to anyone. 1 star for the story.

I listened to the audio book and the narrator was ok. I really didn't really like any of the male characters but she did really well with the females. I would be also willing to listen to another book from the narrator as long as they characters don't have a NY accent. 2.5 stars for that narration.

The cover and the blurb on this story grabbed me right away, but unfortunately, the story just did not grab me. The premise was intriguing but I found the actual story to be more of a fantasy. The way Lexa and Jules met was somewhat believable, but from there on the events that took place were, in my opinion, very unlikely to happen, especially as quickly as they happened in the story. The story was almost too fast paced.

Lovely and compelling storyline; but it ended and I found my self wondering ... where is the rest of the story? Is there a sequel or what and also how did the character get to the time dimension - what's the background? I went away feeling frustrated and unsatisfied.

Love is blind

I liked the book and the narrator was absolutely wonderful.

Is love blind? Elle and Dawson loved each other...from afar. Dawson came back from war broken and it took his little sister to rid him of his demons and open his heart, to feel worthy, to love Elle.

Longer

This story was really sweet. I would like it to be longer. The one sex scene was hot, but shorts like this one needs less story and more sex or tell the whole story and make the story worthwhile to purchase. Veronica Maxim has a great and poetic writing voice--I'd like to see a longer book from her. Jodi Hockinson did a credible Southern Accent. Stories like this one, though, need two narrators.

I paid for this book and am writing this review to help others decide whether to purchase or not. I hope this has helped you.

Loved the Series

I loved this series. You do need to read the whole series in order, but it is worth it. This book started out right where the last book ended. Marcus, a billionaire playboy, had made a deal with Rebecca, a want to be actress for her to be his fake girlfriend to clean up his image, which then turned into bring his fake fiance. They had just recently became more to each other, when Rebecca found out she was pregnant, and the last book ended with her telling Marcus the news. At first in this book when Marcus hears the news everything is just so perfect, but of course that soon changes. I do not like to give away what happens, but I will say things get interesting. I received this book from the author in return for an honest review, and I highly recommend this whole series.

This series is a Hattrick!

After reading the 1st book which I was given free in exchange for an honest review ... I loved book one enough to buy book 2 & 3!

I really enjoyed the characters & the positions they found themselves in. I was rooting for them from the start and was interested in the further progression of the couple & characters.

I do hope to see something more about these characters in the future!

Yes please! Finally got my happily ever after!! Love the story line, my only real complaint is that through all three books, sometimes Marcus name is spelled Marcus, other times is Markus slightly confusing and annoying. Other than that I love the story!!
