Book number six in the series is another five star book

Once again I am having trouble getting the correct number of stars for the book. There should be five stars on the top of the page. The main characters were complex and very human. The plot moves quickly and has many twists and turns,keeping the reader's attention throughout.

The Queen of Suspense is at it again!

I absolutely loved this book... in a freaky deaky kinda way. The tension, suspense, twists and turns... Cynthia Eden always delivers. She is one of my writing idols and I absolutely loved her romantic suspense. I can't wait for the next LOST story to come out.

Another great book! I love this series and this author. She is diffently one of my top go to authors. Love all her books but her romantic suspense books are exceptional. If you haven't read any of her books yet, do. You won't be disappointed.

I love the LOST series. Every time I read a new one I think it's my favorite, but really I just loved them all. Cynthia Eden is an excellent writer no matter what genre! Look forward to her next book.

I loved this Bad Girl!

When I read this book it was titled Bad Girl, which I thought fit the book as that was Tommy's nickname for Tonya. The audiobook version of this story adds so much to it with the performances of Lance Greenfield and Samantha Prescott with their POV narration. This book is number 4 in the Valetti Crime Family by Willow Winters. I have read numerous books by the talented author, and think this series is my favorite. I really enjoyed this book and the characters and highly recommend it. My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it. I leave it up to the professionals to write the synopsis as they are more eloquent. I was provided with this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily left this review.

Another solid romantic story to love!

I have no idea how the author continues to fascinate readers with one amazing tale after another. Thankfully, that's exactly what happens every time I sit down to listen to aaof. k k k l k k k k k k k k k kk k kk k llll of these stories I find myself sitting at the edge of my seat in rapt attention mesmerize enthrall with such wonderful writing and then the narration adds another layer it's decadent. I love it I'm sure you will too.

ANOTHER UNEXPECTED CONNECTION

Willow Winters had done it again in the A Bad Boy Mafia Romance series.

loved setting how the transition between Cop Tanya interrogator & Mafia suspect Tommy meet together in the middle, even if it's for slight different reasons.

But the sadness of Tanya's story of the reason she'd joined the force & why she starts pestering Tommy

Right Touch = Good Girl

I loved this book when I read it, but I think the audiobook is even better! Willow Winters is an extremely talented author. I have read lots of her books and enjoy her writing style. Lance Greenfield and Samantha Prescott did an excellent performance on this book. Rough Touch was originally titled Good Girl and is part of the Valetti Crime Family books. This is a standalone listen, yet part of a series. Dirty Dom is book one and available on Amazon and Audible. His Hostage is book two, and has same availability. This book is the third in the series and features Ava and Kane. I felt this story was very well written, even though it dealt with a dark topic. Both Ava and Kane overcame terrible things and made something beautiful. I thought that Ava was very resilient with what happened to her, and did not let it break her. Both narrators were able to deliver so much emotion that one would not get just reading the book. I really enjoyed listening to the male/female perspective that were portrayed in this book. Willow Winters does a great job at the character development and writes stories that keeps one gripped. The next book is Cuffed Kiss (previously titled Bad Girl), and is already on Audible. Bad Boy releases next. I think this book and the previous ones in this series are very much worth listening to again. (I have not yet listened to Cuffed Kiss, other than the preview that is included with this book, which sounds oh so good, or Bad Boy). I was voluntarily provided with this review copy audiobook at my request.

Just OK

This was just OK for me, I didnt hate it nor did I overly love it. I thought the narrative was addictive but found that there were a lot of repetition in some areas. For example, the amount of times Kanes inner monologue says he doesnt like being involved in the slave trade started to get old. I also didnt feel the connection between Ava and Kane. And thought that it was way too easy the way Kane was excused from his obligations to the Mafia. What made this audio enjoyable was Lance Greenfield and Samantha Prescotts narration. My only small nit pick was that I have heard and loved Ms.

Terrific Book!!!

I read this book by Willow Winters before I listened to it. I loved the audiobook more than the e-book because the narration was so good. I enjoyed getting into the minds of the characters, and Lance Greenfield and Samantha Prescott were able to give so much emotion to their performance. This book is part of a series (2nd out of 5) and is a standalone listen. The same extended family is part of the series, with highlights and updates on other couples. This book focuses on Elle and Vince. (Dom and Becca are briefly mentioned -- they were focused in Dirty Dom -- also on Audible). I was fortunate enough to listen to this book all at once, and it was so good! My review is not a synopsis of the book, but rather my opinion of it! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Entertaining!

My first book by Willow Winters and I loved it - Vince was such a softie when it came to his sweetheart. Cant wait to listen to the other books on this series !

Book two didn't fail to impress.

Though I still prefer Dom to Vince the story was still hot, sexy and intriguing.

love love this story

this is my favorite Ravens book so far. I have read and listened to it multiple times! Al and Mav's second chance story will seep into your heart

the audio was ok at best. the voices were sometimes unclear as to who was speaking and you could hear the stops and starts. but the story itself was do great I could kinda over look the not great recording

Abby Craden knocks it out of the park!

Another fabulous story from Laura Kaye read so well by Abby Craden. Swoon worthy hero; heroine strong, spirited and very well developed character.

Laura Kaye never disappoints. It's always a thrill to listen to her books. Highly Recommended!

Narration didn't work for me

I love Laura Kate's alpha males and Maverick Rylan is up there with the best of them, as Vice President of the Raven Riders Motorcycle Club he doesn't let anyone walk all over him, no one that is except Alexa Harmon, his one true love, and sister to his dead best friend. Following the motorcycle accident that killed her brother 5 years earlier, Alexa is settled and looking forward to her marriage to her fiancée. With only a matter of weeks to the wedding, things start becoming clearer about her fiancée's disposition, which I must say is far from that of a normal loving husband to be. She seeks out the assistance of her one and only friend, Maverick, and it would appear that things are far from over between them. Wonderful series, following the super alpha Raven Riders and the women they love. Thoroughly enjoyed Maverick's story, but sadly the narration didn't work for me. I don't necessarily mind one person doing dual POV, but it has got to be a narrator that can carry off doing both a male and a female viewpoint. I think it's difficult to make it work and it definitely didn't work for me in this instance. Funnily enough I preferred Maverick's POV being narrated as opposed to Alexa's.

Great Story ~ Well Worth The Price!

McQueen and Jojo's relationship may have started out as a one and done rump, but no other woman has gotten under McQueen's skin like Jojo. She's a strong heroine who's tuff, devoted to her family, but lives a double life. She inspires to be a professional fighter, and trains hard, but doesn't let her family know. When her father, the boss over the local Irish mafia, arranges for her to be married to form an alliances with another mafia, she starts thinking she may never be able to realize her dreams. She runs into McQueen while training at the gym. He is known as a player, and for his one and done mentality, but there is an instant attraction, chemistry, and heat between them. True to McQueen's style, he comes onto Jojo, and she's ready to throw caution to the wind, after all their one time arrangement is just perfect for her. Normally, McQueen doesn't do repeats. He doesn't like the complications that come from being with the same woman twice, but Jojo stirs something in him. When the opportunity rises for him to be with Jojo again, he makes no bones about pursuing her.

McQueen isn't the only person who's interested in Jojo. Someone starts stalking her, and leaving intimate pictures of her and McQueen. If having a stalker wasn't bad enough for Jojo, she has to deal with her father, and brothers. Being with McQueen gives her the strength to stand up to her family, but when the stalker closes in on Jojo, McQueen maybe the only one who can save her.

This audio had a great mix of suspense, heat and plot twists. I'm looking forward to the next story in the series. While this is book three in the series, it can be read as a stand alone.

Stripper Bad Boy Gets Knocked Out By Tough Girl

McQueen, the ultimate hit it and quit bad boy, gets one taste of the petite little fighter and he can't get enough of her. This was a good story and there's always the Vegas mafia hanging around to add extra tension. Jojo the perfect match for McQueen because although she was a virgin, she is not naive or insecure.

Some gaps and lack of research

Yes. But the narrator was really bad at accents and butchered the English accent.

The story was good but had some weird gaps. It just wasn't solid enough. There were also weird action scenes - Like the heroine steps out a car and is suddenly in a bad guys face, close enough to hit over the head with a beer bottle, who the hero was supposed to be blocking. And then the hero twiddles his thumbs as she beats the guy up - not doing his bodyguarding duty at all. The climax - There's a room full of Former Special Forces heroes with guns, yet none of them eliminates the bad guy, even after he shoots off his gun into the room, injuring one of the characters. They just watch and merely arrest him after. The heroine's father had pretty shallow character development. The British female character was badly developed - so stereotypical. How many times does one person say "Bloody" in one paragraph! I'm married to a British man and he may say bloody once in a blue moon but also has a wide vocabulary. Lastly - some of the metaphors were overthought - clever but a little too complicated and weird.

A great new series!

Love it. Good characters with lots of spice and action. Good twists. The team is made up of diverse folks who interact well, good banter and can't wait to see how the series continues.... already know who I would like to see squirm with the wit and charm of a good woman!!

I have loved this series from book, This is Wolf and Ravens story..and it was funny, sexy and oh so great...Wolf is a big old alpha male...commanding and caring...and a true hero...Raven is tough and cute..and has been through so much...but together they work...I have loved getting to know all these characters and will be checking out this authors other titles asap!!

This is the second time I've read this book and it hasn't lost its appeal. Still one of my favorite books.

Tijan really captures the meaning of love and loss in the book.

I DIDN'T WANT THIS ONE TO END!! I LOVED IT! I JUST WISH INSTEAD OF DOING A QUICK CHAPTER TO END IT, IT WOULD'VE LASTED A BIT LONGER!

Tijan has a way with words and again this story is technically well written... but it just had nothing on the other stories. A totally different genre really but it just didnt work for me. the ending the whole plot really... a whole lot of twists and turns but just didnt really get me in the "feels" sorry. id recommend if on special but wouldnt pay full price.

loved it. felt Dani's pain, fear and struggle through the whole book. I couldn't put it down!
