Cute Story

This book is a typical story of best friends in first year of college. The two guys decide to go to Hawaii for Spring Break and meet a girl on the beach. She can't choose between, so all three are together.

Part 2?

When I listen to these short stories, I don't generally expect so much detail into the background before the real business starts up (unless it's part of a series, which doesn't seem to be the case)... it wasn't a bad story, just entirely too much detail during the wrong part.

It had potential!

I admit I was definitely into the plot of the book,but that's all it had going for it! The first 45 minutes is the main character describing how gorgeous she thinks she is! No wonder she can't get laid she's in love with herself. She kept calling her vagina a "gash"! I really wanted to like this book!

FINALLY! Dark skinned girl gets an alien LOVER!!

OK, ok.. Ashley West doesn't SAY the lead female is "black" But has" dark nutmeg skin" which is desired by the pale skinned giant aliens.. (also bouncy springy curly hair) ENOUGH for me!! I admire that the writer didn't Label the character but, just a short description of each character. The lead female character hates being made to be a prize for the alien and he hates participating in the tready contract between the aliens and earth. The Aliens planet was dying and their females are few and unable to breed. Aliens find out earth females are compatible with their species with their genes overpowering most of the human characteristics. Of course there is a crisis and the humans and aliens have band together for a common good.. Wonderful REFRESHING story. Diverse and exciting. This story INCLUDED lots of types of people & aliens.. Great conflict, snarky comments and yes... sex but, it INCLUDE someone similar to myself... KUDOS, KUDOS.. ASHLEY WEST.. MORE stories..plezzzz!!!!! Narration was.. o.k. slightly soft but, ok..

Aedian Alien Warrior

Me West's first full length novel is now an audio book. For those of you not familiar with Ms West's stories they are full of passion and action. The males are alpha and the women they pick can meet the challenge of all that testosterone. Adrian starts out as a chauvinist pig however he quickly learns that human women can handle their own thank you very much. Rita Rush does a respectable narration and keeps the listener entertained . One thing I would caution, if you are like me I have the book playing at a decent volume so I can hear it as I am working around the house. I am renovating my house and all of a sudden the workers stopped working because the book was at a very hot part. I turned it off and all I heard in the other room was ahhh no more hot book! To say I was embarrassed is an understatement! I highly recommend this audio book.

WOW! A real tour de force!

What made the experience of listening to Gay Romance: Mated by Three Rough Gay Alpha Musketeers the most enjoyable?

Just how great this story was written! It is soooo funny and engaging! "Adults don't cry...they drink" Hilarious! If you ever wanted an erotica story that has a great storyline and not just lots of sex (but has that by the boatload, no worries!), you will definitely enjoy this story!

What did you like best about this story?

That it has a great premise and is a more fleshed out story than most other R.P. James stories. Most of his stories are very short. This one actually took the time to have a back story on how these 3 friends became 3 modern day Musketeers, and then detailed all the fun times they have together.

There is straight male/female sex, foursomes, fivesomes, gay - all in one story ! And all the characters are likeable and some you can even relate to.

What about Veronica Hearts performance did you like?

I liked her styling for the story - she had a tongue-in-cheek way of narrating the words.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

The sexual, hilarious conquests of 3 Musketeers!

I think this must be the author's best work yet, and he's still a relatively new writer! The story was so much fun - I don't even want to describe all the elements Mr. James threw in here. It would spoil all the enjoyment you'll have from just hearing how it begins! Must be the best setup for an erotica story ever written!

Like a hot funny porn film

I loved it - but I'm the type of guy that likes 'slam bam' stuff. The dialogue at the end with the 'big brother, little sister' stuff may turn some people off, but I think it was meant to show off a different type of character that likes to talk dirty during sex.

And yes, this is not a romance, ladies! If you're looking for light and fluffy love stories, don't buy this particular story.

Good debut story for this author

Enjoyable hot romp with...oops! A new stepbrother. How the author brought humor into the story made it very entertaining - plus well developed and likeable characters.

Ms Heart did a great job with the characters as she usually does. I don't get the 'trolling' bad review by someone named 'David' - he listens to "hundreds" of audiobooks but he has only 3 in his Audible library??? And this is his only review. Sorry, 'David' - you're not very credible.

FYI - this isn't a romance per se - just lots of hot fun between two young adults. So if you are looking for a hot, humorous, steamy good time in an hour short, this may fill the bill :-)

Heather - because it's told from her POV and her funny thoughts and feelings once she finds out who her mom married in secret makes this more than just any old erotica story.

Which scene was your favorite?

A toss-up between the art gallery scene when her mom makes her surprise announcement and the restaurant scene with everyone eating together for the first time.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Ooooooo, yes!

Ok but not my cup of tea

Ok I tried the step romance since everyone seems to like them but they are just not for me. While it wasn't a horrible story I'm just not into these. I had to see though. The narrator added to my problem as her voice is a little flat to me almost monotone. The author did write a cute story if you like these types of romance

What the hell is wrong with this narrator?

Wow had to stop listening after a few pages. I have listened to hundreds of books and I've NEVER heard anything like this. It's appalling! She drags out EVERY word!
