I couldn't stop listening until the end!

This was an extremely captivating and entertaining audio and I wish I had more of it! The narrator is great and the story flows nicely with good character development. It get's hot and steamy at the end and I've been thinking about this story the last few hours with a smile on my face! Highly recommended!

Our Secret: A modern, captivating romance

I absolutely loved Our Secret! Bancroft has become one of my favorite romance authors with her unique twists and interesting characters. This particular story follows Melanie who is an average girl trying to make her way in corporate America. She's doing great until she meets Tim, a cocky temp who steals credit for her work but takes ever available opportunity to flirt. Despite his attitude, the two get close and well, you can imagine the rest. But there is just a few problems. Tim is engaged and Melanie and him are coworkers. This is another cant-put-down book. Get it now! You won't regret it.

This is a very exciting and romantic book. If you are a fan of romance books, this is another must-listen and must-buy because you will love it. I bought it for my mom to listen to and she loved it.

What did you love best about Our Secret?

What I loved best about "Our Secret" is the true romance that was bound to happen. I liked the way they kept flirting with each other. In the beginning you could tell that they were just playing around, but once they were alone in the freezer, I knew it was just a matter of time.

What other book might you compare Our Secret to and why?

I think I might compare "Our Secret" to "Always You" because of the way each woman felt. I know that one woman was in a relationship, and the other woman was not, but I could their understand the feeling they both shared. They both had men who wanted them in anyway possible, and when it happened for both women, ecstasy just took over.

I have listened to Kendall Taylor perform "Always You," and in both stories she gave a great performance.

good book

Bastien Zikos, and Delilah Moore fell hard for one another 2 years ago. Delilah has not dated much, and the strong emotions she felt for Bastien scared her. He asked her out, and she said no. She was the only woman that ever got to Bastien, and the only one who ever said no to him. He planned for 2 years to buy the company out from under Delilah's father.

When he bought the company, he gave Delilah 3 choices. Option 1 - walk away, in that case he would sell the machinery in the factory and sell the sight to a developer. Option 2 - spend only one night with Bastien. In that case he would make the business function again for one year. option 3 -Delilah would become his mistress. In that case, he would do almost anything she wanted, up to hiring back all the laid off employee's, including her dad. It had broken Delilah's heart to see her dad so depressed. He had worked his whole life, now suddenly he had no job, and no way to support his new wife, and his small kids. Her dad, step-mother, and little brother had moved into her small home with her, because they lost their home, when her dad lost the company.

Delilah couldn't stand by knowing she had the power to give the people of her small town the jobs they needed to survive. She had to give him to Bastien's blackmail. I loved how she said what she wanted too. She may have giving in, but her tongue would never be controlled.

The chemistry was there HOT, and steamy. No other man had ever made Delilah's body burn for something more the way Bastien did. She was a virgin, so this was a whole new world to her. She may have been blackmailed, but she was as drawn to him, and he was to her. The two belonged together.

Formulaic but fun

I love a good Lynne Graham and she appears to be writing these latest stories with her old fans in mind. I know that the formula has been done over and over again but I still enjoy the alpha H doing everything he can to get the innocent h into his bed and life. Here he uses blackmail and finds himself in over his head. Why only 3 stars? Well I felt that things moved very quickly and there wasn't much conflict. Still I enjoyed my guilty pleasure for the month.

Very enjoyable read. I saw the books description then read the preview. This is a contemporary billionaire romance. Bastian is a self made man who uses and disgards women especially if the expect more than being his mistress. His first meeting with Delilah was very memorable so he worked finding a way to meet and push her into the position he wanted. They each had good reasons to distrust th opposite sex.

It's a great companion.

The office scene where Alex is spilling his heart to Elise.

And I did, Alex said. I let her go. Because I did love her, and I did want her to be happy. I wasnt sure what to say, so I didnt say much of anything. Hed gotten up to pace while he talked, and now his hair was a rumpled mess from running his hands through it. His voice had cracked and broken several times during the story, and when he looked at me now, it was with red-rimmed eyes.

What did you love best about Vanilla?

Elise likes to be dominant but doesn't want a 24/7 lifestyle. I think most people who enjoy BDSM don't live it 24/7. This shows a different picture of wanting, needing and sharing something

What about Tatiana Sokolovs performance did you like?

She really brought emotion into the story. It wasn't just about dominance ,

It was about caring for and loving people you care for

Thee were very strong emotions in many parts but some how they all pull together in this story about a woman looking for love.

I wasn't sure I'd like this story, but Megan Hart is a wonderful writer and managed to make this story likeable and work

Pretty good

Pretty good story in this series. I glad I found out who was terrorizing the people in the area so some mysteries were solved. Loved the heroine because she was independent and strong. Not a bad read.

Her Shadow Men

Britt and Daniel were awesome! Such sweet, caring, determined, protective guys. Debbie was being so difficult throughout the whole first half of the story, it was almost to the point were she was unlikable, until she had her religious experience and a change of heart . . . but I didn't hold it against her by the end of the book, by that time she had redeemed herself. The dialogue was a bit cheesy at times and there were a few parts where I didn't feel Britt and Daniel's actions jived with their training and operative abilities. The crazed person in this one was a former associate of Britt and Daniel. I look forward to the last book in this series, Her Personal Security, the Alcott Brothers story.

Love the series, but...

I love this series by Becca Van, but Debbie, the main female in this book is virtually unlikable. She is abrasive and often just plain mean to the men. I am only halfway through and am having trouble finishing simply because I dislike her so much.

book 5 was very nice

I really enjoyed this one as the author seemed to hit her stride in the series and stretch out a bit more. it shows. this is an 18+ only series and not suitable for kids but adults that like erotic romance will like it. the books can be read separate but it's a better read if u do them in order as the characters from previous books are always popping in.

Slick Rock is a wonderful series. Becca Van keep writing.

1st for me

This is the first time that I have had any editing issues with an e book but in this one mine had several pargraphs that repeated but aside from that I loved the new addition to the series. I love how we get to see Leah and Rachel again which was featured in previous books. I recommend this book after all the editing issues has been resolved.

Depends on the friend. It's not high literature, but it's good for what it is.

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Predictable but pleasant. The story isn't really written to culminate in a full plot ending, it's mostly just the sex scenes.

Which character as performed by D. Jordan Padrona was your favorite?

I enjoyed the main character's performance. Very titillating! As always, Padrona's performance lends a credibility to the dialogue.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

menage-a-milf! I can't really think of a tag line that's 15 words long so I hope that'll do.
