Delightful heroine, but predictable storyline

EASY READ, well written, engaging storyline, strong family theme, great friendship between the hero and heroine, honest, lively dialogue, charming, low-key romance, and a sweet ending. HOWEVER, there is nothing new to this innocent-virgin-asks-for-sex-lessons-from-experienced-friend storyline and it got a little old listening to the hero's thoughts about how he cared about her and didn't want to hurt her, but he wasn't going to resist temptation.
THE STORY revolves around 23-year-old fashion designer hopeful, Lucy Cordell, and long time friend, Damien, Prince of Montedoro. After years of isolation with a debilitating heart ailment, Lucy's heart is surgically repaired and she wants to be a normal women with an exciting love life. But to attract the man of her dreams she decides she must lose her virginity and gain experience, so she asks her dearest friend, Damien, to teach her. At first, he decides to spend an exciting plutonic weekend together and then let her down gently. That is, until he realizes she is an exciting, beautiful woman, and he is more than willing to give in to the attraction.
OVERALL, engaging heroine, charming couple, but the storyline is nothing special. For a much better read, try C. Rimmer's The Return of Bowie Bravo.
