loved this book! and as a series it will get better and better. i hope astrid's mom and dad have a fleshed out book on how they met and all that good stuff.will chelsea get her own HEA? she deserves it. and piper, astrids bestfriend and her useless boyfriend brad, break up soon i hope, and then she gets a true love story too.alynna and turo-he's the keeper of knowledge will they get their own stories? they are not hook-ups but it would be 2 more books! yeah.and the shongtals go get'em. Lauren lively does a great job, can'y wait to read more and this one is on my kindle too-hey the authors work hard for their money-so pay up. lol

Life anew

I liked the story, hated the ending. It is a HEA, but also a cliffhanger. It was nice to find out what happened to Ozy and Jessica's baby and how she is coming into herself. But what happened to Chelsea? Quint, Warden of LA, self proclaimed protector of Astrid. It's only the beginning for Astrid and thats why I say its an HEA with a cliffhanger.

Great

I enjoyed reading this story. I found I could not put it down until the end. The characters are well defined, though some of the Shongtal were too mean to believe. I will read the others in this series because I am definitely hooked and want to see how the rest off the story goes.

A Fast Paced Alien Dragon Shifter Romance You Won't Be Able To Put Down

This one was definitely not what I was expecting, in a good way. Lots of action, a half dragon half human girl that needs saving, demons who are looking for her and an alien dragon prince, trying to keep her safe. Good stuff! Lots of action

Best. Ending. Ever!

I had to wait a while before I could even review the last book in this series (or maybe not the last). The depth of so many emotions have me struggling, only because I want to do justice to this review. So here goes. I have loved all the books in the series and each one had a new level of surprise, laughter, sadness and so much love. Samuel and Azerial are two more characters to join the Angel Knight family. Samuel is the detective who has always worked with Angel and became a good friend through the years. I think the rest of my review will have many SPOILERS for those of u who don't want to know much. Samuel's character goes through a major change in his life and meets his soul mate as well. The entire story is not only about Sam and hid Goddess (literally) and the difficulties they have to endure to be together, but also delves more into the family and the fact that there is nothing they won't do to protect their loved ones. This has been shown in each book and there is a closeness they have to each other that always makes me want to be part of their family. Never have I been so drawn in to a story of any kind until this. Lost loved ones are brought back (at least for a while), and the greatest dangers they have faced come forward with one of the most horribly difficult scenes to read. I had to believe it wouldn't end that way, that the author couldn't do that to us; and she did not disappoint. All the family dynamics continued to make me sad, happy, angry and absolutely blown away during the final scene. Although I never got over my dislike of Leigh; that did nothing to deter my love of this series. I will always be grateful that I took a chance on an author of whom I had no knowledge. I don't know what else to say except "thank you" for this book and this series. You are a Rock Star (pun definitely intended)!

sad to have it end

I'll have to say, this was the one book that I didn't want to keep reading to get to the end. Not because it didn't hold my interest but because knew once I finished, it was complete.

Bear shifters and humans arenât supposed to me x and the Sheriff of Black Salmon wants the bears totally eradicated, just how far he goes will bring one pack almost to extinction. 4âïâs for a great paranormal romance !! Canât wait for book 2.

Wasn't expecting the bonus books at the end. Enjoyed the Black Salmon story as well as the unexpected Uoria series

Asher and Rose

Fantastic read! Rose returns to her "home town" to recuperate from a very messy divorce where her ex spread such bad rumors that she lost her teaching position. Even though she is eventually exonerated, the stigma is still there. Her aunt, who raised her after her parent's death, is battling cancer so Rose returns to care for her as her aunt cared for her. She finds a part time job in a bookstore and there meets Asher. Asher has a big secret, maybe two...one he's a bear shifter and two he's engaged to a woman he can't stand but will go through with a wedding for the sake of the clan. Then he meets Rose and he knows there is something about her. Unfortunately keeping his engagement to himself doesn't quite work out when they are interrupted in their tryst by his fiance. Rose leaves and Asher tends to his fiance in a not nice way.

Very good

A very interesting story that walks the thin line between grief and love. Helen lost her twin sister Irene, who had been the center of Helen's world for 60 years. Hiyoko lived in a small town high in the Japanese mountains and still grieved the loss of her husband, who had passed ten years prior. The two women meet by chance and need the push of both the living and the sprits of their departed love ones to actually risk letting love into their hearts again. This was the first book that I have read by this author and I really enjoyed it, the characters were multi-dimentional and very realistic. It was nice to read a story where love was still possible late in life, and I would recommend this book to anyone look for an enjoyable afternoon read that wants to walk away with a good feeling that anything is still possible, despite what hardship may have befallen you.

The Longest River

A sweet, sometimes bittersweet, novel about loss, love, and redemption while trekking through the grieving process. The writing from Hildred was wonderful, as usual for me, but what shines here are the characters. I really enjoyed getting to know everyone in here, and learning what goes on in the Japanese countryside. Helen and Kiyoko were refreshing to read about. I only wish I could have spent more time with them. Highly recommended read.

Loved it!! I'm hooked on this series!

This story picks up shortly after Absolute Surrender. It's not quite a stand alone story. It follows Echo and Aethan, the same characters from Absolute Surrender. We get to see more of their love story and see how they are adjusting to Echo's new status. It's very well done and even though it focuses on the love story more than the first one, there is still plenty of action to keep the reader's attention. Echo and Aethan have already gone through the worst of things and are completely committed to each other, now they have to figure out some of the details and how things are going to work. Aethan is a protector and alpha male and Echo is a fighter. They have to find the balance that works for both of them. I loved getting to see more of them together and getting to see them happy. The chemistry is still of the charts between Echo and Aethan and the sex is explicit. We still get to see the rest of the secondary characters, which I loved. It's a complete story and I can't wait to get to see the other Guardian's stories. The characters are complex and we get some more insight into the other characters, which just makes me want their stories even more. I've already picked up the next book in the series and am very excited to get to read it.

Mineâ is a follow up of Ms Hunter's âAbsolute Surrenderâ and it's a great novella featuring Aethan and Echo

This story follows directly after âAbsolute Surrenderâ and Echo is tired of Aethan treating her like a fragile china doll. This novella follows Aethan and Echo going on a date, working through their relationship issues, complete with demoniis, angst, and sizzling romance. This is a great follow up to the series. And it also includes the guardians Tyr and Blaez in it, which I love.

I highly recommend this series if you haven't started it yet.

Love this series

This is a "half" novel that leaves off directly after the events of Absolute Surrender. I love how Ms. Hunter makes the characters so flawed. They have real human emotions and suffer the same anxieties that most people suffer at the beginnings of relationships. It's nice to see this reflected and I think it's what makes the reader so invested in the books. I love this series and highly recommend it. I have already purchased the next book and anxiously await to see who she writes about next.

The Guardian's Passion

This story of shape shifter romance is one of a kind.Shapeshifter is human-like creatures that start out human, but later learn how to change their form to look like anyone they want. This story is about a romance with a bear shape shifter.A very different story.Felicia and Curtis a true lovers that will do anything just to stay with each other.As the story goes by it has a full of suspense and thrill that makes me more interested to the story.I'am lucky I read this great book.

I enjoyed Brittany Bloom's story. Plot was interesting although the book is short and left me wanting for more. This is truly a mark of an interesting story. I love the characters of Felicia and Curtis! Great book.
