Ehh. Disappointed in the ending to a phenomenal series.
This should not be the last book in what was the best series I have listened to in years. It was the first book I was disappointed with in this entire series including the King and Lawless books. King, bear, and preppy deserved better than this :( It just dragged out the preppy and Dre story which clearly should've been told in 2 books instead of 3.
Uneventful ending and it never picked up.
I was sooooo looking forward to this book but it was boring and uneventful. It felt rushed and had none of the edginess her other books did, plus it was waaayyy too short.
Spoiler : In a nutshell? Preppy and Doc have a marriage ceremony....The End. That's the book!
Not worth the credit nor the $13.97 I paid for it. Just buy the ebook for 3.99 and you will be glad you didn't waste any more than that.
I kept waiting for the story to pick up and she teased like it would but nope, one tiny incident that made me go "huh? that was it???".
This is the 8th book I've listened to by her so I had expectations.
Wow
Absolutely amazing. I cant believe it took me this long to discover TM Fraizer and the King series. I really didnt want it to end. I fell in love with Preppy, King, Bear and of course their women. This is one of the BEST series Ive ever listened to.
Preppy 2...
is pretty much the same as my review of Preppy 1 with a couple of exceptions
Lance's voices for Rage, Bear and King are awful. I especially hated his Bear voice...it was cringeworthy.
Lance's Preppy seemed a bit improved with a bit more energy.
"So yeah, I loved this book and Lance Greenfield did a good job reading, but his voice is just wrong for Preppy. I felt this this narration didn't flow with the rest of the series. This time around he just felt like a completely different character. He wasn't that hyper, awesome, crazy guy I expected. Rob Shapiro's Preppy was PERFECT and I was pretty disappointed that it was changed so completely for this part of the series.
Great book and great series. I should have read the book instead, I think.
Kirsten Leigh is fantastic for Dre. "
Kirsten Leigh - 5 stars
Lance Greenfied - 4
A MUST READ conclusion!
T.M. Frazier is an amazing author. Her words always have me so immersed in the story that I feel it. The Preppy trilogy is no different. The story is thrilling and sad in all the right places. You will cry tears of heartache and tears of joy throughout. That being said, this book felt like mostly filler to get to the end. Possibly, with a few deletions from the previous two books, the full story could have been done in just two, even if it did make them a bit longer.
