Never Say Never!

Would you consider the audio edition of Till Death to be better than the print version?

Both are very good. I think the narrator did a very good job distinguishing the characters. Also, it gave it more of an eerie feeling having someone read it to me.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Cole Landis! Who doesn't love a sexy FBI officer who is still harboring feelings?!

Which character as performed by Sarah Naughton was your favorite?

I would have to say Sasha. Sarah did a very good job on the suspenseful parts.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

You bet! I listened to this while I was working, then it carried over into making dinner.

If you love Jennifer's books you will not be disappointed. If you're a first time reader, this book is suspenseful and has some romance too. I hope you loved it as much as I did!

Super Great!

As soon as I read the synopsis for this book, I knew I would love it! Love the suspense and love the mystery! Great characters, and very entertaining story. Sasha was kidnapped and tortured by a serial killer 10 years ago, and has returned home to help her mom run the family bed and breakfast. When women begin going missing again, and the M.O. is the same as the serial killer from the past, Sasha's life gets more difficult. Before the serial killer from the past kidnapped Sasha, she had a relationship with Cole, but after the kidnapping Sasha needed to get the heck out of there, but when she returns home, she sees Cole again, and the old feelings are still there, or maybe they never left. I enjoyed the romance, Cole and Sasha are really cute together, and I liked the progression of their relationship. I actually would've like Cole to be a bit more alpha, but he does a good job of showing how he feels to Sasha. I knew, or rather thought I knew who was behind the new crimes, and it turns out I was correct, but I still enjoyed the anticipation of the reveal, and it wasn't completely obvious, just an idea I had. I listened to the audio, and the narrator did a great job! Really enjoyed the listening experience, and would recommend it! Jennifer L.

Love This Series!!!

Yeah she did it again! I can't get over how T.M. Frazier can pull me in to every book in this series before chapter one is even over.

This book picks up where book 5 finishes. We get a whole different side of Preppy in this book. He wants to be the person he always was but he has come back to the living broken and damaged. In this installment of Preppy's story Dre and Prep are both a little lost and once they give in and lean on each other they finally begin to heal from the drama that has happened to each of them since they were together last. I love how all of these bad asses are soft when it comes to their women and how they learn from their past and the damage that was done to them as children and they will not let it happen to others. While they may be criminals and not always to the "right" thing, they usually do it for the right reasons. As you can guess this book ends in a MAJOR cliffhanger but as long as you go into it know that you won't want to throw your phone ;)

The narration was great, I think Lance's portrayal has grown on me and with his voice I don't see Prep and a Skinny, Geeky guy like I did in King's books.

Preppy's Back.....

.....but he has a long road, and journey ahead of himself while he comes to terms with what was done to him, and everything he missed out on while he was gone. Preppy is such a complex character, it's actually going to take three books to tell his whole story. In book two, there's heartache, secrets, pain, sadness, and as he deals with everything, he tries to push everyone away, but his close friends King, Pup, Bear, Dre and others, will not give up on him, or allow him to give up on himself. I missed the old carefree, fun-loving character we've come to love, but as the story progresses we see more of the old Preppy. There are a few surprises, a WTF cliffhanger that will take you by surprise, but I'm anxiously waiting for book three to be released in audio.

Lance and Kirsten both did a outstanding job with the narration. Lance does such an amazing job with Preppy's character. I love it!

For those who have not started the King series, I highly recommend the whole series! (that goes for you too T.H. I know you will love this one...just try it!)

Heart Beat

A. Zavarelli and Tracy Marks did it again the best combination since peanut butter and jelly. I am emotionally drained and still coming off the high of this emotional rollercoaster. Once I started I couldn't stop until the end. definitely worth it

Better than the first

This is the second book in the series and it was better than the first. I listen to this audio and was consumed by it. The narrator did a fantastic job once again playing both characters. The conclusions I had made in the first story turned out to be completely wrong. I was pleasantly surprised and excited with each new chapter I heard. A great ending to a dark passionate audio.

Good story, Great Narration!

This is a hard book to review! I loved where this story went, I loved the characters and how strong Brighton became throughout their story. This entire book felt like build up for a big ending but the ending felt rushed. I wanted to see more after the "incident" not just a summary of what happened later. Besides that, I loved their story.

Tracy Marks was perfect as always <3

Revenge Is A Beast

Is revenge the beast that either Ryland or Brighton want to slay? The conclusion of this story is an enthralling journey through false paths set by family and foe alike. I like that Brighton was strong enough to make decisions to remove herself from the violence that has consumed both her brother and her lover. Kudos for strong women and Brighton proves to be a strong woman that fights for the life she wants. Ryland figures out what's important to him and now it's just a matter of what he's willing to do or give up to have it.

I have loved everything that I've listened to from A. Zavarelli and I'm sure Tracy Marks' narration helps to sell a few more copies. Keep the great listens coming.

Absolutely worth the credit.

A RIVETING, INTENSE, SOLID FOLLOW UP WITH TWISTS!

Wow! A. Zavarelli delivers another intense installment that will not only keep you in suspense, guessing, but right on the edge. Zavarelli really puts the characters through the ringer, and the emotions run high...... again. I loved Brighton's strengths shined through. She's been through so much, and it's good to see she didn't crumble, but instead found the strength to stand up for those she loved when it mattered the most. I agree with the other reviewers, and loved Ursula G's heading, she really "hit the nail on the head."

Zavarelli has done it again! If we didn't Ryland before, his character has taken a 180, and he feels so much remorse, and guilt for the accident that almost claimed Brighton.

A superbly paced, action-packed, sexy thriller!

Rachel Grant's Tinderbox is a fabulous, edge-of-your-seat story set in one of the most politically unstable regions of the world, the Horn of Africa. Sadly This Wasn't For Me...

Jack of Hearts had all the makings for a great story. An FBI agent working to infiltrate a drug ring to gather intelligence to bring down a drug lord. He co-owns a biker bar with his brothers who he works closely with. Then there's a romantic interest in a woman who has family ties to the drug lord. However, the story never grabbed my attention, and I felt underwhelmed with both the plot, and characters, and gave up around 47%.

From the portion I did listened too, the story seemed to be more on the serious side, but wasn't overly emotional. The plot came across as dull, lacked intrigue, and I never really felt the chemistry, and attraction between the H/h.

The bottom line for me, this story lacked exciting suspense, action, steamy romance, and humor. I'm sure others will enjoy it, and appreciate the more serious tone, but sadly this wasn't for me. Since I DNF the audio, I gave the story two stars, but an overall three stars to be fair for not completing the story.

Not worth credit

Sadly this audio book was not worth listening to. Sebastian York was excellent as usual but the story was so boring and poorly written even he couldnt salvage it.

I love Sebastian York

This book was a good listen but I had a problem with the female narrator and character. She was too weak and her voice was very mousy. Sebastian York always makes it worth the listen .

Amy McFadden ruined the book for me

I guess to each his own. It took me 3 days to listen this book and still didn't finish it.

I could not stand Amy McFadden's narration. It was like listening to two books, Amy's narration was adolescent like and the females sounded like airheads with the way she reads. Her male voices were actually better than her females in my opinion. Even though Sebastian is made to read the alpha male role with his deep smoky voice he still made the female sound sexy and sophisticated. It was hard to go from AM narration of an immature adolescent type book to SY narration of a more alluring romantic listen.

I stopped listening due solely in part to wanting to literally slap AM every time she reads and bought the book to read myself. I really wished SY did the entire book.

I quit at 33%.

From the beginning you'll know the hero has secrets, the bad guy is bad, and the heroine is something of a dish rag.

Good dark, sexy listen

I listen to this audio and really enjoyed it. Its a good story with lots of passion and definitely some hard-core sex. The Secrets and twist kept me guessing and the narrator did a fantastic job of playing both parts. The characters are well developed and I believed in the pain that both of the characters were feeling as well as the deep dark passion they both shared. Cant wait for the next one.

A PERFECT LISTEN FROM AN A* AUTHOR

All the previous glowing 5 star reviews sum up this intense, riveting and addictive listen very well so all I can add is that it was such a joy to be able to go straight to book 2 after the cliffhanger ending of book 1. I've loved all of A. Zavarelli's previous books.. but surely this Duet has got to be her best and most impressive work to-date.

This Duet is deliciously dark, it's smoking h.h.h.hot, it's wickedly intense, it's got shocking twists, it's perfectly paced, it's temptingly twisted, it's got gripping suspense, it's filled with sensational secrets, it's got a sexy Alpha Billionaire whose emotions run deep and Tracy Marks did a fantastic job bringing each pulse-pounding chapter to life. And book 2 adds danger, romance, passion, heartache, character growth and a sweet HEA.

Worth a credit? Yes absolutely.

Twisted, revenge cliffhanger!

I really enjoyed this story but beware it's a cliffy. Not a terrible cliffy but it does feel like it kind of cuts off abruptly. This book was dark and twisty with lots of secrets and deception. I liked most of the characters a lot but Brighton was a little far fetched for me. Either your innocent or your not, she went from innocent to NOT innocent in 2 seconds and it just wasn't realistic to me. Also the characters names were difficult because Brighton & Brayden sound a lot a like when listening to the audiobook and I kept having to figure out who they were talking about. I loved Ryland and was very happy to finally get his background story and it just made me like him even more. I will definitely be listening to book 2 when it comes out on audio!

Tracy Marks is a fabulous narrator. I love the inflection from characters to character.

Love Love Love Lori Foster but

Loved the story but the voices on the narration drove me crazy especially the girls voice very annoying if I didn't want to hear this story so bad I would have left it. I hope the next story has different narrators

Was this really a Lori Foster book?

I have read many of Lori Foster's books and loved most of them. This one just seemed too flat. And the new aerator didn't help at any. His female Voice was quite irritating.

I would have to tell you to pass on this book. And I don't think I will be listening to the next one. But I will keep trying to find good books by Lori Foster because I know she has some good ones out there. This just wasn't one of

Story Fine - Narration Not Fine

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The narration. Alexander Cendese is a fine reader any character voices specifically female voices - terrible, distracting and made the women sound weak, moronic and as if they are in some kind of strange classic noir movie.

If youve listened to books by Lori Foster before, how does this one compare?

This is not nearly as good as Lori's other books. The poor narration didn't help but the book left something to be desired. The dialogue was at times completely unbelievable.

Would you be willing to try another one of Alexander Cendeses performances?

If he was only speaking in a male voice - yes. Any female voices - no way. Other character voices - not great but not as bad as female voices.

Was Under Pressure: w/ Bonus Novella: Built for Love worth the listening time?

I listen in the car so I pushed through....but I thought several times about abandoning the book. I know that this is a series and hope this might be a just a bad apple in a good bunch.

I hope this mediocre book is not a bad sign for the series.

Lousy reading

The man who told The story made the young woman sound like an excitable eight-year-old boy. It was really really bad

Great start to another great series.

I will like this series, but I miss Jim Frangione. The new guy has a nasal female voice that is a little off putting. Not irritating enough to avoid the book, just not what I have come to expect from Foster's audio books.

Another amazing Boston Underground audio!

Picking the favorite among this series is seriously impossible. They're all fantastic, gritty, hot and memorable. Crow, Reaper, Ghost and now Saint are filled with fascinatingly flawed heroes and heroines that make you frustrated, heartbroken and hopeful.

Scarlett, I must admit, has probably been my favorite heroine so far. She's very broken but still full of grit, determination and more than her fair share of darkness. Rory is her weakness but he makes her strong and takes care of her. They prove that you don't have to be perfect to be loved, just find the person perfect for YOU to love.

Tracy Marks, as always, is amazing at this series. The voices and accents are incredible and her performance is emotional and gripping. Ashleigh Zavarelli's writing paired with Tracy Marks' voice acting makes this series a one-click buy for me. Every.damn.time.

The most enjoyable one for me yet.

Would you listen to Saint again? Why?

I loved this book so much. The story line is great and a little of step from the previous books so it kept everything fresh feeling for me.

Rory! He just wanted what everyone wants, but he wanted it with the person who was least likely to give it... it all works ok ok I promise

What about Tracy Markss performance did you like?

Oh Tracy... you have killed any future boston set or Irish themed audio book for any narrator other than you! You nailed it, you performed the crap outta it, and you have officially become the best at the Boston Irish accent ever... dare I say even better than an actual Irish Bostonian? Maybe?

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

It was graphic regarding the context of the story, but it was necessary for the characters. It still pulls at your heart for what Scarlet has gone through.

Any additional comments?

This is a real beauty and the beast story. But sometimes the beast is the past, and the beauty is the overcoming of it. Disappointed

This one wasn't as suspenseful as the first book. I was a little disappointed but it was a good read.

Not impressed

First book I read by this author and I was not impressed. The heroine is naive even though she owns a gun store. I found it to be too dramatic, and boring at times. Too much "innocence" for a twenty something year old, gun stores owner.

Really good addition to the series :)

This was a really good story. I liked Ian in previous stories so I was happy to see his book come up. It was enjoyable while being interesting and engaging.

Rory is an unusual woman. She was born to parents that were disillusioned with the world and became preppers, getting ready for the time when society goes to hell. Rory lost her parents 3 years ago and she took over the family's gun shop. Unfortunately, after being home schooled and conditioned since childhood to keep to herself, Rory doesn't socialize much.

Ian is a fireman and also a member of a motorcycle club that isn't necessarily on the right side of the law. Ian got a lot out of the club when he was younger and has always felt he owed them. However, he also has the need to help people and his brothers in the club saw his job choice as being a slap in the face. Things have been tense for a while and Ian's been trying to straddle the line between his two lives.

Ian and Rory met for the first time when they were 12 years old. Rory's parents tried to be self-sufficient and didn't buy much in the store but Rory got to go along on a rare trip and met Ian. Ian bought Rory a cupcake and started her love for rarely attained sugary treats. They saw each other over the years but never got too close. When Ian comes around and hears that Rory has been having someone lurking around the gun store at night and setting off the alarm, Ian becomes very protective.

Rory is apprehensive because she's had a crush on Ian since he bought her the cupcake but never thought he's want her in return. Ian had basically the same thoughts about her so when he realizes that Rory is actually attracted to him, he makes it his mission to win her. Rory holds back of course and denies the blooming relationship with Ian when everyone in town is talking about it but no one truly believes her protestations. There is trouble to deal with, part of it was already coming but part of it got exacerbated by issues that take place in this story.

Absolutely Enjoyable

This gifted author knows how to create engrossing stories with true yet realistic heroes, both human and canine. I'm already looking forward to book 4!

I particularly enjoyed the way Brandon and Sophie's relationship grew from childhood friends to adult lovers, based on mutual respect and mature affection.

The plot was an interesting mix of suspense, friendship and romance with some explicit but tasteful sex scenes - no alpha jerks, no passive women and an adorable dog.

Absolute Trust

This was another good story. I hope Ms. Drake plans to continue the series. She certainly set up for future tales. I especially enjoyed Sophie adopting a Cream Point Siamese kitty from the cat cafe, lol. Between the men & the dogs, there was a lot of testosterone floating around, lol. A small dose of estrogen was just what was called for! (Siamese are my favorite breed of cat) it really gave the story a little extra sparkle.

THE DIFFERENT VOICES OF THE DANIEL AND KRISTIN ARE GREAT AND BRING DEPTH TO THE STORY'S. ALL OF THE BOOKS I HAVE HEARD ARE GREAT AND WOULD LIKE TO HEAR THEM IN MORE BOOKS .
