    Tables Get Turned
This short story fits perfectly within the Twilight Zone universe. If you've ever watched any of the old episodes, you know how this goes. Great production, sound effects and music. Stacy Keach's narration is great.
    Creepy
Would you listen to The Dummy again? Why?
This was a good story because it was emotionally creepy. This story was heading into the realm of un-natural and it was well told. Anyone who enjoys the series The Twilight Zone will think this is one of the better tales in the series.
    Not the Best
This was OK for a cheap quick listen. I purchased several Twilight Stories at one time. This was my first one to listen to. I was not overly impressed. I hope the others are better.
    Gave me the willies.
Pretty good for a short, short story. Is he schizo or is it real? Narrator sounds like Joe Pesci, which only adds to the crazy factor. For .36 cent it was a bargain.
Beware of tail that wags the dog
Excellent all round. Brought back memories of the original TV series. Will listen to more in this series.

    Worth a Listen
Definitely worth a listen and well performed.
Occasionally a little clichéd but a very entertaining listen, filled with subtle puns and a good continuation of the original series.
    Very intrusive background music
Continued in a similar vein to series one (with a change in lead actor), but is spolied by the frequency, duration and volume of the background music. Enjoyable enough when it can be heard, but the dialogue is regularly obscured.

Title: Titanium Rain, Episode One (Dramatized)
    Author: Josh Finney, Kat Rocha
Narrator: Lance Roger Axt, Elizabeth Knowelden, Carrington MacDuffie, Colin O'Leary, Christopher Price, Phil Wells, Richard McGonagle
    Format: Original Recording
Length: 1 hr and 27 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 03-26-13
    Publisher: The AudioComics Company
Ratings: 4 of 5 out of 13 votes
    Genres: Sci-Fi & Fantasy, Dramatizations
    Publisher's Summary:
In 2031 mankind's survival instinct is put to the test when a civil war in China spirals into a global conflict. Nations are torn apart. Millions are killed. And for many, like Air Force pilot Alec Killian, survival will mean shedding some of their flesh in exchange for biotech and machine. Is "Project Prometheus" the ultimate corruption of nature? Or the birth pains of a new chapter in human evolution?
Follow Killian's journey as the origins of the war are detailed, battles are waged... and lives are lost... in this first chapter of the Titanium Rain saga, adapted from the graphic novel by Josh Finney and Kat Rocha.
    Critic Reviews:
"As a radio play, "Titanium Rain" could quite easily be listened to by someone unfamiliar with the source material and enjoyed as a gripping piece of audio drama on its own merits. However, I think it works best as complementary material to the book, adding an extra layer of insight and appreciation for its audience into this minutely detailed reality and the motivations of the characters that inhabit it. From that perspective questions of superfluity are easily dismissed. Fully realised and cleverly conceptualised fictional environments like this don't come around too often in comics. We need to appreciate them when they do." (Broken Frontier)
"The entire production is phenomenal... absolutely nothing gets lost in translation. Even [in] the banter between a group of soldiers, the listener can still hear the radio playing in the background of their scene, or the white noise of traffic and computer bleeps among tech channel-surfing of one the spot journalists.... (The Lottery Party)
"The AudioComics 'movie in sound', based on the bestselling graphic novel by Josh Finney and Kat Rocha, is a high-octane example of how visual a medium audio theatre really is. Starting with a pitched battle in a future war that is all too believable and creating a range of engaging characters whose stories intertwine, AudioComics' production values never fall below exceptional and the pace is full throttle. One of the best examples of immersive entertainment in a creative field undergoing a huge renaissance at the moment." (Dirk Maggs, award-winning audio director/producer of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and Neverwhere)

    Sounds settings were off
A typical mix of militant jargon mixed in with sound effects of explosions and gunfire. It was entertaining, but the sound setting were Way Way off, the dialogue was soft so I crank the volume, and the next scene opens with gunfire and yelling!
    Terrible Sound Production
    Any additional comments?
Actually, this was a pretty good short. In the future, the US and its allies are embroiled against China, which has been taken over by a nationalist general called "The Emperor" after the terrorist assassination of the Chinese premier. The story focuses on the pilots of the planes being used to wage the battle in the skies -- cyborgs due to the taxing demands that the aircraft take on the human body. I think the real downfall of this audiobook is its sound production quality.

    Publisher's Summary:
Primer for the Spiral Politic (Postwar Edition) 2: The Sontarans.
Era: Last thirteen million years. Technology: Military (blatant), limited time-awareness. Its perhaps unwise to think of the Sontarans as a species, as such. A homunculus breed hatched by the million and engineered for full-engagement warfare, the Sontaran military machine is regarded by many time-active cultures as an occupational hazard: a force of nature rather than a race, compelled by duty and genetics to acquire new technologies for its endless war effort. It should be remembered, however, that with the backing of a higher power even the crudest of breeds can become something quite different.
Written by Lawrence Miles. Directed by Nigel Fairs. Postproduction and music by Nigel Fairs. Produced by Bill Baggs. Cast: Suzanne Proctor (Cousin Justine), Ellis Pike (Godfather Morlock), Caroline Burns-Cook (Lolita), Emma Kilbey (Cousin Eliza / Godmother Quelch), Nigel Fairs (Lord Ruthven / General Kine), Linda Bartram (The Voice).
    A full-cast audio drama.
    Critic Reviews:
Another great success from Lawrence Miles. This one isn't quite as enjoyable as The Eleven Day Empire, as it has to spend more time getting into the mundanities of the plot instead of dazzling us with the amazing world Lawrence has made, but it's definitely got a lot going for it. Justine continues her transformation into an absolutely frightening hero, Lolita becomes an absolutely loathsome villainess, and certain events happen that are so shocking that I'm still waiting for a resolution to them four discs later. (Let's just say that one of my favourite characters apparently dies, and I'm still waiting to see what happens to them.) But it's a great story, told at lightning pace. And the theme music is great for these audios, by the by... it's a sort of jazzy reinterpretation of the Doctor Who theme, which makes a certain sense for a story that's a sort of post-science fiction reinterpretation of Doctor Who. Logan's Run: Aftermath continues Logan's epic journey as he races toward an uncertain destiny.
    Members Reviews:
    An Enjoyable, But Gritty, Adventure
This is a sequel to the radio drama "William F. Nolans Logan's Run - Last Day" and should not be listened to without first hearing that production. The events in "Logan's Run -- Aftermath" take place after the movie Logan's Run (and the book by the same name by William Nolan). Tara 8, a former Sandman classmate of Logan, undertakes a sinister plot to revive The Thinker and reinstitute the controlled world encountered in the original world of Logan's Run. The events in Aftermath take place in a dark and gritty world inhabited by displaced persons and outlaw bands. Our hero, Logan 6, is a grim violent antihero, owing more resemblance to Mad Max or Jack Bauer then to the boyish, smiling young man portrayed by Michael York in the Logan's Run movie. The Colonial Radio Players do an excellent job with multi-cast presentation, great sound effects and music. It's an enjoyable journey as long as you're not in the mood for something lighter.

    Members Reviews:
    Beware Crabtree Cottage!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Certainly. The second story is the creepiest in this series to date!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Jarrem Lee - Ghost Hunter?
Each time Jarrem Lee performs his "battle checklist" with Bennett , you just know something spooky is about to occur!
    Which scene was your favorite?
Crabtree Cottage from start to finish!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Moved me...? No, not really. There is some great male bonding between Lee and Bennett, but that's about it. Maybe the mother's joy at the first tale's conclusion.
    Any additional comments?
If you enjoy old time style radio fun, treat yourself immediately and buy these Ghosthunter audio books!
    Textbook Ghost Hunter!
Would you listen to Jarrem Lee - Ghost Hunter again? Why?
I listen often because of the production values CRT uses for each show. Gareth Tilley writes well and researches well also. Each ghost hunter episode is filled with off handed references to literature's occult detectives. This makes listening fun for me.
What did you like best about this story?
Overall Jarrem Lee volume 2 is textbook ghost hunter. All of your standard occult tropes are there as well. Different mythologies are used also to propel the story.
Have you listened to any of Jerry Robbins and The Colonial Radio Players s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I've listening to many CRT productions and each Jarrem Lee tale is a solid performance. They compare easily to the father brown productions. I don't think Jarrem Lee would do well as a full scale CRT production like Ticonderoga. The material is more episodic.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
The pentacle won't hold! This is a great tag line for Jarrem Lee.

So he's more than surprised when an invisible winged demon appears in his drawing room. The Metropolitan Police's longest-serving officer, Inspector Lionheart (Nicholas Courtney), doesn't believe in the supernatural either, wings or no wings.
So he's less than impressed when Russian emigres begin dying impossible deaths all over London.Together, Lionheart and Dunning must face quarrelsome Generals, sinister clowns and Russian demons as they unravel The Nazad Conspiracy.

    Excellent first story.
I like this as the first story in the Scarifyer series. Very funny and imaginative.
Entertaining in a fluffy frosting sort of way
This was a fun little story. More music filler than I prefer. Solving supernatural crimes in 1936 England. Delightful idea with the right mix of skepticism and the unexplainable. I'll probably listen to another to see if the get their feet under them and keep delivering interesting stories that don't require your full attention. Perfect for falling asleep to as they're not long and if you have the timer set, easy to pick up from your starting bookmark and catch up to where you fell asleep.
found the music in the middle a bit irritating.
overall good light listening. Try to buy it on offer though because I think it was a bit expensive full price.
    Well, that was fun
This was a very amusing ripping yarn. A fun plot, with nods in the directions of M R James and of Doctor Who, excellently voiced by Nicholas Courtney and by Terry Molloy (who sounds very like Derek Jacobi to me). Ludicrous, but fun.,and I found myself smiling almost all the way through.
    What a ripping yarn
Very silly and very funny a total rest from the world. The performances were excellent I particularly liked the relationship between the inspector and the professor. I would recommend this audio book to anyone who likes the ridiculous. I will be getting the next in the series. In the meantime look out for things that go bump in the night!y
