Today, I’m going to share one of the best ways to reduce stress. It can also help those who struggle to fall asleep or stay asleep at night.

This simple stress-release technique works fast, is free, and has many health benefits. It will help balance the parasympathetic nervous system, which is all about “rest and digest.”

This easy breathing technique is based on a book called Heart Coherence 365.

What you need to remember is 365, which stands for:

    • 3 times a day
    • 6 breaths per minute
    • 5 minutes

Three times a day, you’re going to take six breaths per minute for five minutes.

It’s important to make sure you take deep, even breaths through your nose using your stomach. You should feel your diaphragm going out and in.

This breathing technique for stress can also help improve HRV (heart rate variability). HRV has a lot to do with your health and fitness reserves.

An HRV (heart rate variability) device can help you better understand and improve your health and nervous system balance.

3:55 The first sign of kidney disease
    4:36 Other kidney disease symptoms
    5:13 How to stop nocturia
13:46 Learn more about keto and intermittent fasting!

Today we’re going to talk about the first sign of kidney disease. The kidneys are filters that convert blood into urine and recycle your fluid, protein, nutrients, and hormones.

Other functions of the kidneys include:

    • Coordinating the amount of fluid in the body
    • Converting vitamin D into the active form of vitamin D
    • Regulating blood pressure
    • Regulating the hydration of the body
    • Eliminating toxins from the body

High blood sugar levels can lead to diabetic nephropathy, one of the most common causes of kidney failure and end-stage renal disease.

The first sign of kidney disease is nocturia, a situation where you urinate often during the night. Other common signs of kidney disease are protein in the urine and edema.

I have found that the best way to stop nocturia is to focus on improving the person’s diabetes first. A high-carb diet is ultimately behind diabetes.

The best ways to support your kidneys:

    1. Go on a keto diet
    2. Do intermittent fasting (one and a half meals a day)
    3. Consume plant phytonutrients
    4. Take benfotiamine
    5. Take alpha-lipoic acid
    6. Consume turmeric

You could consume one cup of sugar every day for 10 years without noticing any obvious problems. Your A1C and blood sugar may still be normal, although you might experience brain fog. The average adult consumes around 50–57 teaspoons of sugar daily.

Much of this sugar comes from hidden sugar in starches, which can have a higher glycemic index than table sugar. Your blood sugar may still appear normal because insulin removes sugar from the blood. Many people have high insulin without knowing it because they never test their fasting insulin. Ideally, you want your fasting insulin below 5.

Chronic health conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol can take 15–20 years to develop after prolonged periods of high insulin and insulin resistance.

Common sources of hidden sugar include:
    ● Cereal
    ● Orange juice
    ● Whole wheat toast
    ● Baked potatoes
    ● Pasta
    ● Low-fat yogurt
    ● Soda
    ● Sports drinks

Chronic starch and sugar consumption can lead to insulin resistance, significantly affecting your metabolic health over time. Intermittent fasting and reducing your carbohydrate and sugar intake can help support healthy insulin and blood glucose levels.

Does it seem like water isn’t quenching your thirst? There are two main reasons this can happen: You may not be drinking enough fluid, or you may have low blood volume. Low blood volume is the more common scenario.

Low blood volume is one of the most common causes of excessive thirst. Drinking more water can actually make the problem worse, leaving you with constant thirst.

To retain enough fluid and maintain healthy blood volume, you need adequate salt.

Low sodium and low blood volume symptoms include:
    • Feeling dizzy or unstable when standing up quickly
    • Persistent thirst, especially at night
    • Fatigue, weak muscles, or cramping
    • Poor sleep
    • Headaches
    • Feeling cold
    • Constipation
    • Dark urine
    • Dry mouth and dry eyes

You need around 3000 to 4000 mg of sodium each day to maintain healthy hydration levels. This is equal to about 1½ to 2 teaspoons of salt per day. If you’re an athlete or physically active, you may need more.

  • CEASE Eating for 3 Days?! (72 Hours)

What happens to your body during a 3-day fast? In this video, we’ll cover the fasting health benefits of both intermittent fasting and extended fasting for 72 hours or longer. I’ll also share some expert fasting tips for even more fasting benefits.

Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food)

0:00 Introduction: Not eating for 3 days?

    1:02 Intermittent fasting benefits
    1:44 Extended fasting benefits
    3:12 Autophagy and fasting
    4:22 72-hour fast benefits
4:49 Immune benefits of extended fasting
    5:36 Fasting tips
6:28 How to break a fast

Did you know that insulin resistance is behind most chronic diseases, including many types of cancer? Frequent eating leads to insulin resistance, which blocks cells from getting fuel. Diets involving 5 to 6 small meals daily destroy the metabolism the most!

An intermittent fasting plan involving 18 hours of fasting with a 6-hour eating window can provide tremendous health benefits, such as weight loss in the midsection, improved mood, and decreased inflammation.

A 24 to 48-hour fast can significantly magnify the benefits of fasting. Extended fasting enables you to deplete the stored glycogen in your liver. You may also notice significant initial water weight loss.

During a 1 to 2-day fast, most of your fuel will come from ketones. Your microbes will thrive, and growth hormone will increase, boosting muscle growth and burning fat.
Ketones will feed the neurons in the brain, so you may notice improved cognitive function.

Extended fasting allows you to get into a state of autophagy, where your body removes damaged cells and proteins and creates new ones. Autophagy also allows you to build new brain cells.

A 3-day fast can produce even more benefits! Extended fasting for 72 hours can clean up intracellular pathogens, including Epstein-Barr and herpes viruses.

A 3-day fast can stimulate your immune system, protecting you against cancer and autoimmune diseases. You can achieve results similar to stem cell therapy for free!

If you’re unsure of how to fast and want to make the process as comfortable and beneficial as possible, try these fasting tips for the most fasting benefits:

•Coffee and tea are okay during a water fast
•Make sure you have enough sea salt
•Consume electrolytes like potassium and magnesium

Refeeding can have a negative impact after a 3-day fast. It’s best to rebuild your caloric intake slowly. Bone broth is a great option to break your fast.

  • What's Truly in Inexpensive Grocery Store Bacon

With so many different types of bacon at varying price points, choosing the best bacon can be difficult. Is expensive bacon worth it? In this video, we’ll compare cheap bacon vs. premium bacon—not just the flavor and price, but the true cost to your health.

Watch this episode next: Reset Your Body in 5 Days (With Zero Food)

0:00 Introduction: Cheap vs. expensive bacon

    0:27 Bacon quality difference
    2:06 The bacon process
    2:26 High-quality bacon
    3:33 Dr. Berg’s bacon
    4:51 Nitrates in bacon
    5:46 Cooking pork

The average commodity bacon at the grocery store is affordable, but is the more costly bacon worth it?

Once a pig is weaned from its mother, it’s sent to a feedlot, weighing about 40 to 50 pounds. It will then live in a 7-square-foot area where it will be fattened to over 250 pounds in 3 to 4 months!

Commercial pigs are fed GMO corn and soy. They’re also given drugs in the US, like ractopamine, to quickly increase muscle growth before slaughter. This drug is banned in 90 countries! Laws protect the privacy of these farms, so it’s difficult for the public to discover what truly occurs there.

When bacon is processed, artificial smoke flavoring, salt, sugar, water, and MSG are typically added. This process is not generally used for high-quality bacon.

Nitrates are chemicals that act as antibacterials and flavor enhancers. When exposed to high heat, however, they can turn into carcinogens.

Singing Pastures is an excellent source of pasture-raised bacon. Pigs are rotated in small pastures to allow grass to regenerate. In Spain and Italy, pigs are often fed acorns. Pork is also cured to enhance flavor and quality.

Pork is one of the best sources of vitamin B1. Pasture-raised pork contains vitamin D and trace minerals such as selenium and zinc. Lard is a healthy fat and, if it comes from a properly raised pig, is a great addition to cooking and baking.

Overcooked bacon can create carcinogenic byproducts. Avoid this by cooking your bacon in the oven or air fryer. To counteract carcinogens, cook your bacon with olive oil, garlic, and onion. Avoid microwavable bacon!
