What causes hypertension? One of the most common high blood pressure causes is a deficiency in this key nutrient. In this video, I’ll explain the connection between vitamin D deficiency and high blood pressure. Your doctors will not tell you this!

0:00 Introduction: What causes hypertension?
Dr. Bruce Hollis Interview:
If you have high blood pressure, your doctor should always check your vitamin D levels.
Ninety percent of hypertension is considered essential, which means the cause is unknown. However, I believe it's likely linked to vitamin D deficiency. Vitamin D is vital in supporting and protecting the endothelial layer of your arteries.
The benefits of vitamin D for your arteries include:
Nitric oxide keeps the arteries in a state of vasodilation and relaxation. Without enough nitric oxide, the arteries become tight, and blood pressure rises. When the endothelial layer of the artery becomes dysfunctional, you no longer produce nitric oxide.
You won't absorb much calcium if you don't have enough vitamin D. This can cause your parathyroid hormone to increase to remove calcium from the bone and put it into the blood. If you are chronically low in vitamin D, the parathyroid hormone will continue to rob calcium from the bone, creating osteoporosis.
Many doctors do not recommend large doses of vitamin D in fear of vitamin D toxicity. Clinical data does not support vitamin D toxicity! Dr. Bruce Hollis, a pioneer in vitamin D research, has personally never seen a case.
Vitamin K2 can help remove calcium from the arteries and put it into the teeth and bones. Magnesium regulates excess calcium and helps to prevent cardiovascular problems.
Vitamin D protects your arteries by decreasing inflammation and supporting the vascular cells. Vitamin D, magnesium, and K2 can help prevent calcium from developing in the wrong places, helping to prevent high blood pressure. Aim for 30,000 IU of vitamin D daily if you have high blood pressure.

It's very difficult to lose even one pound of body fat without changing your diet. If you eat junk food, you’ll have to burn even more calories to burn extra fat. Weight loss is 15% exercise and 85% diet!
You have to change your diet if you want to lose weight. There’s no way around it! Exercise improves fitness, muscle tone, and health, but it is not the key to weight loss and certainly won’t help you lose weight fast.
If you want to lose fat and not just water weight, you have to keep insulin low. Decreasing insulin will also decrease your appetite and cravings. To reduce insulin, you must go on a low-carb diet!
The carnivore diet involves eliminating all carbohydrates and eating meat, eggs, fish, and cheese. This simple diet can help you lose weight fast!
Intermittent fasting is the key to fat loss. It can also help with other health problems, such as inflammation, high blood pressure, diabetes, and depression.
Remember, carbs block fat burning. You can lose weight without changing your diet, but it won't be much!

5:15 Vitamin B12 deficiency causes
6:04 Vitamin B12 supplements
It’s often thought that only vegans and vegetarians need to worry about vitamin B12 deficiencies, but there are many ways to become deficient in this important nutrient.
Vitamin B12 deficiency can decrease your ability to make and repair DNA, increasing your risk for cancer. Vitamin B12 supports the myelin sheaths around your neurons, and a deficiency can cause anemia.
Early signs and symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency include fatigue, weakness, pale skin, and tingling in the fingertips and toes.
Over time, you may notice more symptoms of B12 deficiency, including the following:
•Red, swollen, shiny tongue
•Mouth ulcers
•Out of breath easily
•Dizziness if you stand up too quickly
•Cognitive problems
•Anxiety
•Circadian rhythm issues
•Depression
•Vitiligo
If you have a severe B12 deficiency, you may have problems walking, severe muscle weakness, and severe psychiatric problems, such as hallucinations and paranoia. Severe B12 deficiency can also cause permanent, irreversible nerve damage.
If you don’t regularly consume animal products, you could become deficient in vitamin B12. Try incorporating vitamin B12 foods such as clams, liver, sardines, red meat, tuna, salmon, grass-fed dairy, and eggs into your diet.
If you have low stomach acid, you will have trouble absorbing vitamin B12. A genetic problem known as polymorphism can also interfere with vitamin B12 absorption.
If you take vitamin B12 supplements, take the natural form called methylcobalamin. A healthy liver, small intestine, and acidic stomach are vital for vitamin B12 to be absorbed and function properly in the body.

Toenail fungus is often thought to live on sugar, but that’s not actually the case. Why some people develop toenail fungus while others don’t can be influenced by several factors, including immune function.
Fungal nail infections are more common in people with weakened immune systems, and factors like chronic stress and diabetes can also increase the risk. This may also help explain why toenail fungus can be so difficult to eliminate and why it often comes back.
Common remedies for toenail fungus include:
• Epsom salt
• Tea tree oil
• Castor oil
• Garlic
• Black seed oil
Even fasting may help with recurring toenail fungus by supporting autophagy, the body’s natural cleanup process.

6:08 Dealing with sugar addiction
Let's talk about the side effects of sugar and how to cut sugar from the diet. The average person consumes 74 teaspoons of sugar per day. Since there are over 200 different names for sugar and types of hidden sugar, many people don’t realize how much they’re consuming.
Food addiction expert Dr. Joan Ifland explains that you get a surge of dopamine when you consume sugar. The dopamine cells in your brain are not equipped to handle this surge, which is why you crash within 20 minutes. Over time, the dopamine receptor stops working, and you will need more sugar to achieve the same dopamine surge.
You can reverse sugar addiction and get your body into a state of fat-burning called ketosis in as little as 72 hours! You will no longer crave sugar.
Willpower alone does not usually get rid of sugar cravings. To get into ketosis and eliminate sugar cravings, you have to get your body to burn fat.
Try these tips to get into ketosis and eliminate your sugar cravings for good:
1. Keep your carbs below 30 grams per day.
2. Change your environment and get your friends and family on board. Hide junk food or remove it from your house altogether.
3. Find pick-me-ups other than sugar. Exercise, dancing, music, laughter, long walks, nature, and helping others can increase endorphins and oxytocin without depleting your dopamine receptors. Physical work is also very therapeutic.
If you fall off the wagon and give in to sugar cravings, don't beat yourself up. Use it as a learning experience! Consume protein and fat to minimize the damage caused by a slip-up.

If conventional cancer treatment kills over 99% of a tumor, why does cancer keep coming back? A very small percentage of cancer cells can survive treatment, and these remaining cells are the hardest to kill.
Cancer stem cells lie dormant and may not be effectively targeted by conventional cancer treatment. These cells are the main contributors to cancer recurrence and relapse.
Cancer stem cells have several mechanisms that help them survive treatment. This is why a multi-targeted approach may be beneficial in addressing cancer recurrence.
Conventional cancer treatments can also be very hard on your immune system. Early detection screenings aren’t always effective and haven’t been shown to significantly improve lifespan.

Saunas have interesting thermotherapy benefits. When you use a sauna, your body adapts to mild stress. Adding mild stress causes your body to adapt and become stronger.
Other things that create mild stress, causing a similar effect, are cold showers, ice baths, fasting, and exercise.
There are a lot of health benefits of sauna therapy, including an increase in certain hormones (growth hormone, noradrenaline, dopamine, serotonin, and prolactin) and much more. But keep in mind that when you use a sauna, it’s crucial to get enough electrolytes in the right balance.

0:00 Introduction: Why you need zinc to prevent a vitamin D deficiency
Today, we’re going to talk about the fascinating connection between vitamin D and zinc.
Many people don’t realize that zinc is vital to allow vitamin D to work in the body. If you’re deficient in zinc, the vitamin D receptor won’t accept vitamin D. On the flip side, vitamin D allows zinc to be transported through the body.
Symptoms of zinc deficiency:
Foods rich in zinc:
Causes of a zinc deficiency:
When using high doses of vitamin D, always check with your doctor. High doses of vitamin D can increase blood/urine calcium levels resulting in calcium deposits in the kidney. Also drink 2.5 liters of fluids per day, take cofactors with vitamin D (magnesium, K2 and zinc) and have your doctor monitor your PTH, vitamin D blood levels and creatinine and avoid excess calcium supplements of high calcium foods when taking vitamin D levels over 10,000 IUs.

Not everyone responds to simply changing their diet. Some people improve their diet and still struggle with weight loss and other health problems because diet is only one part of your overall health environment.
Daily movement is critical, and it doesn’t have to be formal exercise. Our ancestors walked 5 to 9 miles per day while lifting, carrying, and working. Movement can also help reduce stress, especially mental stress.
Our modern environment is engineered to feed addiction. Social media addiction, constant entertainment, and junk food can repeatedly spike dopamine and reinforce addictive behaviors.
Your chemical environment matters too. Pesticides, fragrances, and estrogen-mimicking chemicals can all affect your health. Eating healthy food may not be enough to overcome constant exposure.
Lack of sun exposure, poor sleep, and less social connection can also interfere with your health. Changing these everyday habits and your environment is just as important as changing what’s on your plate.
