Groove on the Wireless Volume 2 – show # 31
Dr. Groove remains in recovery, but is tired of dealing with the drama and intrique of others, so he goes back to one of the foundational reggae tunes, Truth & Rights, and takes it from there. When people come together for a common aim, and work collectively towards it then that is a beautiful sight to behold.

Groove on the Wireless Volume 2 – show # 30
Dr. Groove is in recovery, and met up with some of his longest amigo’s to drink (not drink) and consider the old days that none of them can clearly recall. We open the show with a classic album that’s 50 years old! One thing is for certain, this is not the future we’d envisioned for 2023, this is not the measure of those dreams.

Groove on the Wireless Volume 2 – show # 29
Dr. Groove brings you another show from the isolation unit/rooom, as he’s with Covid again.
The music is suitably reflective, and whilst we get towards dancing, it is not a solo occupation.
Instead you get a slow comteplative existential shuffle, be content with that.

So the revival, the reprise that is Spring begins to reveal itself in snow drops. Go out there and find yourself in nature, and observe the stretch towards the light and the promise of spring and summer to come. Life is awaking and Dr. Groove staight back from another funeral to bring you one hour of music. It’s a trip, through some fat basslines, and into all sorts, and ending with a some fithy Rock & Roll, for we play on, we play on.

Groove on the Wireless Volume 2 – show # 26
The theme is feeling alien, not fitting in. Mentioned in the track 2 of this show, Earthlings by Anteloper, it’s been a constant theme in music, and especially the music that’s been influential in Dr. Groove’s life, from Bowie to Radiohead. We all love the aliens, and feel like outsiders from the pack, who follow convention and slip into ‘group think’ so easily. Nobody knows how to live, so we have to figure it out for ourselves, and if you get lost sometimes, talk to your friends, and you’ll figure it out. Unconventional, is as good a description of the music, as any other, file under; @lternative.
