Groove on the Wireless Volume 2 – show 51
Dear All,
There is real pain when you lose the poets, and this show demonstrates the power of lyrics and the magic of words, to connect, move, inspire and dream. Shane McGowan, and Benjamin Zephania were two such poets, and thankfully they’re more, and they never die, whilst we live, we dream.

Groove on the Wireless Volume 2 – show 49
Irreversible Entanglements, it was the living embodiment of an event. The idea that through music and art you can move people towards a collective goal, or consciousness. It was that kind of night for those of us lucky enough to be there. Never underestimate the power of the Collective – and speaking of which the powerful Oxyn also feature this week.

Groove on the Wireless Volume 2 – show 48
Some times ago, Dr. Groove recorded this show on an unusual Sunday which saw him catch the new Gabriel Byrne flim about Beckett at 10.30am – where we learn that ‘Joy’ is less interesting than the other themes explored by our beloved, tortured, but funny fecker, Sam. Then we have the other artistic duo, Rob & Sean from Autechre who feature heavily in this show. Music for looking at stars from these gutters.

Dr. Groove can only offer temporary relief from the confusion,
“ I didn’t invent this buzzing confusuon, it’s all around us and…the only chance of renewal is to opwn our eyes and see the mess.”

Falling in love again, with an original first love, the power of a guitar, in this instance a Gibson SG – and how we all got transported away for a intersellar trip thanks to commander Che Chen from 75 Dollar. That’s the inspiration for this show, and the very 80’s sound of guitars that I grew up with.
