Alvin Kamara style runner.Decent pass blockerLine them up outside in the slot to get matchups it looks.Flips contact very wellB to B plus level route runnerWill take when he’s given. Has the mental acuity to split defenders.Probably get in an outside zone schemeGuess the outside quick Good lateral quickness. Doesn’t completely avoid contact but tries to limit it Can be a match up with if you get them out in space as a receiver Really impressive as a pass blocker Ran out of the shotgun a lot. It is also used to running a single bag under center formation. Sells the run and play action really well. Good versus getting to the urge. Has a long speed to take the ball to the house. Legit fast. Patience Good balance. Almost never goes down on first tackler.
Dobbins
Good passblocker. Sooooo many passblock teps. Good speed- great when he breaks it to the outside. Good longspeed to break away from defenders Good lateral qickness that he uses to make himself a pain to talkle- he might not make defnder miss but he often angles himself to make it harder to tackle and grt him down w/o getting a few yards Can get skinny when trying to hit anhole. Makes himself hard to tackle by. Physical, Not taking him down with arm tackle
Physicality - keeps him moving forward for extra yards. Gets down field fast enough to block for receivers. Hood leg drive- allows him to keep moving with def on him. Makes ssome interesting leaps/jump
Clyde Edwards helaire
Lines up out wide- Match up receiving weapon. Downfield threat. Makes himself hard to take down. Reminds- Devonta freeman- ray rice esq. Good contact balance. Good open field vision
Loose hips- makes him hard to take down (alabama film show this well). Great at making guys flat out miss . Alabama game shows this really well .Almost always a guy near him whi wiffs
Loosest hip- amazing lateral quickness . Opt routes out of backfield
Cam Akers- florida state- Good leg drive, falls forward. Good breakaway speed. Good pass blocker. Oline makes it hard. Decent pass pro Looks like discount nick chubb when he runs
Jamaal williams comp? With more breakaway speed?
Usually gets yards from extra leg driveGood burst- more of a straight line runner.Shows some decent cutting ability against miamiReally tenacious- Biggest ?- visionShows a bit in miami game- shows some decent vision again. Used in the wild cat a bunch- even threw a pass or 2
Followed blockers well in the screenpass i saw Got more creative in miami- 2 scrb pass and a check down but he made good work. Lots of wildcat - I’d say avg lateral speed (not doing what the top 3 are doing) above avg long speed, vision hard to figure with bad play around him but looks okay in lwr comp games
Zach moss-
I like what i see- doesnt look “game breaking fast” but has a good stiff arm, twists and contorts body, fghts through contact. (Oregon game reversed field and picked up 25 yards). Good vision. Tough to bring down- hard to see the “why”- but vision/contact balance . Def decent passblocker, multipe teps in Oregon gane. Weird “lanky” frame. Good hand. Gets to thr edge well. Very upright run, hard to get down. Plays through contact well. Scheme versatile but would fit really well in a zone run scheme-reminds me of a slower tevin coleman with better vision - maybe a bit of legarrat blount- good vision. Good hop step that helps him refict
Good initial burst. Fits well in the creen game. Like a tougher, bette blount better hands. Good pass pro. Has dome kareem hunt to his game
Johnathan Taylor
Good burst, great long speed, only avg vision but he is productive with it- sees hole hit hole.
Iowa game showed great burst and vision when going down hill. Has some lateral movement- has hop to the side move that helps get extra yards and avoid full contact. Doesnt have lateral ability to make defenders miss in a phone booth (just not where he wins) but foes change direction out of breaks to keep defenders off kilter. Presses line really well to find a crease and go. Reminds me a of Nick Chubb to a high degree. Keeps moving through contact . Question him as a pass caatcher- wasn’t really used that way
Anthony macfarland
Good stop foot ho foot (like a stop foot go foot but with more poon)
Good acceleration
Solid hands
Reminds me of depnvra freeman or philliop lindsay
Decent contact balance
Lamchiael Perine, Florida
Looks like a league ave rb. Vry good pass blocker
Passcatcher- lines up ouside and makes catches away from frame. (saw 1 drop down field throw). SLips tacklers in backfield-but I dont see him make much of it. Also dont see him break tackles in open field either. Didn’t see him in the open field againts LSU- VIrginia he breaks free runs by whole defense. Shows good open field vision in the Virginia game as well. Also take a check down, brakes and ankle tackle it takes in for a touchdown. Slips through traffic - resp for multiple breakawat tds. There’s a couple of spin moves to kind a get some extra yardage and break tackles. Auburn- better wrap up on him. Stays on his feet pretty well
Aj dillon boston college
Decent straight line runner. Actually gets out and blocks every once in a while
Doesnt have good initial burst but is a pain to take when he gets going
Needs a good oline and scheme to be productive. Not good at passblocking
More scheme dependant
Joshua kelly ucla
Weirdly built frame, not a good pass blocker. Has a good enough speed to be in NFL running back. Better on outside runs. But if he hits a hole in the middle he could probably get 1015 yards
can’t tell if problems on interior running is on the offense of line not getting any push or opening calls. But definitely seem to run better I’m going to the outside. Usc Game gives you an opportunity to see what happens when he has some blocking. It’s the whole well follows blockers. His athleticism and long dpeed shows. Best if it would be a zone blocking scheme AZ
Decent vision, can plant his foot and cut. Will take whats given to him- but cant make something out of nothing. Makes a hand sull of catches in each of these four games- can he be utiized more like this or strictly check down player? I think check down.
Eno benjamin(Oregon, Michigan State,
Decent in space player. Has a little burst if you get past the line of scrimmage. Overall it’s more like a replacement level player. Isn’t going to make a mess in the backfield. Isn’t gonna overcome a bad offense of line. Willing to take the orders that are blocked. Thank he could do more in the receiving game then he was given a shot of. The Oregon game is the only game I felt like they were using them I was semi-correctly. Hard to take them down when he’s in space. Seems like he would fit in Kansas City‘s offense
