Today I am talking to you about my hopes for the future! 2021 is your year to schedule more joyful activities. I am also sharing about the future direction of this podcast. I believe sharing and hearing human stories is an important part of health and healing. Especially as we move forward.
If you listen on Spotify you'll see this episode twice, because it includes a licensed song by Bush, which can only be heard on Spotify. So I created two episodes, so that people listening on other platforms will be able to hear this episode, too! Just without the song at the end!
On Today's episode we talk with one of my favorite people on the planet, Dianna! She is a cancer survivor, and survivor of two brain aneurysms. So, you could say she knows a thing or two about adversity. She tells us her story about how 2018 was one of the hardest years of her life. And how she still has tough days, but I will let her tell you about that in her own words. This episode is timely, because as a collective, we have all been experiencing one of the toughest times in our history. And I think it is important to remember we can let this make us better, instead of bitter. In no way are we trying to convey that people are not allowed to feel sorry for themselves, or feel down and out. What we are sharing is that as a human being, you can experience a wide array of emotions. Some even simultaneously. Being a human is so weird sometimes. Tune-in and listen to Dianna beautifully express her story. I know you are going to fall in love with her! You will certainly feel all the feels while listening to this episode!
How do you support your immune system? That's what this episode is all about! I share some of the methods I use to maintain a healthy immune system. And I share some products I use that may ease symptoms you have, if you do catch a cold or the flu! Cold and flu season is here, so I am doing what I can to be proactive with strengthening my immune system. Especially, before driving across the country! I have no affiliations with any of the products I discuss today. Always check with your doctor before implementing any of the wellness knowledge I share with you!
Do you find yourself giving away your power? I know the feeling. I know what it's like to accept someone else's belief of who I am, or what I deserve, and subsequently act out that narrative, even though it is not true for me. I know what it is like to accept less, and give away my power. And guess what? I am done living that way. Hear what I have to say about owning your power, and overcoming people pleasing! You've got this!
I am moving across the country during a pandemic. Seems wild, I know! On today's episode I talk to you about moving back to my home state of MA, and how you may be feeling like you want to make a major life change as well. Change is difficult, but staying the same isn't always easier. Oh, and hear me use mod podge, instead of hodgepodge, haha!
Do you have a tough time making decisions? I think we all do from time to time! Sometimes we are influenced by the people that are around us. So, what can we do to overcome other people's opinions?! On this episode, I give you a practice you can use to help make decisions that align with you!
