Are women just here to breed? Also, how do we overcome the Us vs. Them mentality? Our system needs to take a serious look at itself in the mirror and make some changes.
In this solo-cast I talk about joy, women's empowerment, and the need to hear more women's stories. This podcast is going to not only be about women's health anymore. It is also going to be a place for you to share your experience as a woman, whatever that experience is/has been. I am interested, and I want to hear what you have to say.
On today's episode we talk about runner's shits, hydration stations, and about the Boston Marathon. Plus, we discuss what the female athlete should consider when properly fueling for competition. This conversation with Registered Dietitian, Nicole is part serious, part silly, and all kinds of informative.

Self-Reclamation coach, Aisha Watson talks to us about how we can remember who we are. She reminds us that we always have the choice to be ourselves, and make powerful decisions from that state of being. She teaches us that the rules we are living by might be old, outdated, and given to us; they might not even be our own. She let's us know we don't have to live by the conditioning we inherited from our families, culture, and society. We can embrace and embody our own GREATness. We can walk in our own power and purpose with clarific confidence.

Two resources she mentions in the podcast today for you to explore:
1. Dr Jolene Brighten - whose made it her mission to figure out underlying causes of hormonal imbalances https://drbrighten.com/

No woman should feel alone when it comes to her health. I understand what it is like to have health issues, and I want to take the stigma out of what a lot of us women experience. We need to bring these topics into the light, so we can better understand ourselves, and each other.
