Drop Dead Serious With Ashleigh Banfield

Sean “Diddy” Combs has officially traded luxury for lockdown. Just days after being sentenced to more than four years in federal prison, new reports claim Diddy was caught with “toilet wine” behind bars. TMZ says the fallen hip-hop mogul was caught making alcohol in his cell while also facing punishment for a banned three-way phone call. In this episode of Drop Dead Serious, Ashleigh Banfield breaks down Diddy’s first weeks in prison, his secret call that violated federal rules, his surprising new job in the chapel, and what really goes into making “toilet wine.” Plus, how it could all jeopardize his rehab program and sentence reduction.

According to a new criminal complaint, Ashlee allegedly trapped a man named Tyler S. Brewer inside her Lompoc home after he confronted her about Melodee’s whereabouts. That confrontation, and what Ashlee told him before things spiraled, could be the biggest clue yet that Melodee is alive. In this episode, Ashleigh Banfield uncovers what happened inside that house, what the court documents reveal, and how Ashlee’s own childhood, as a nine-year-old girl once featured in a newspaper story about escaping an abusive father, mirrors her daughter’s story in haunting ways.

Newly released surveillance footage shows 9-year-old Melodee Buzzard and her mother, Ashlee, together for the very first time, just as police move in with a dramatic arrest. Officers swarmed Ashlee Buzzard’s California home, blocking the street and hauling out evidence bags before leading her away barefoot and in handcuffs. But investigators say the arrest isn’t connected to Melodee’s disappearance. The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office confirms Ashlee is charged with false imprisonment.

Robyn Polston was a 43-year-old mom and hairdresser from Washington, Illinois. Police say that same mom is now behind bars after allegedly giving birth to her daughter’s 14-year-old boyfriend’s baby. According to investigators, Robyn Polston carried on a secret relationship with the teenager for more than two years. They say she even posed for a maternity photoshoot with him, told friends a series of conflicting stories about who the baby’s father was, and tried to keep the truth buried until a DNA test revealed everything.

New and disturbing clues are surfacing in the investigation of D4vd and the death of his underage girlfriend, Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Detectives are piecing together what happened inside D4vd’s Hollywood Hills mansion and inside the Tesla where Celeste’s decomposing body was found. Among the new findings is a Build-A-Bear certificate that could connect key people in Celeste’s life and help investigators understand her final days. The toxicology report is still pending, and investigators say it could finally reveal what caused Celeste’s death. Was it an accident, an overdose, or something more sinister?

Major update in the search for missing 9-year-old Melodee Buzzard! Police have released a new photo showing Melodee and her mother, Ashlee Buzzard, at a car rental office in Lompoc, California before a mysterious road trip. Both were wearing wigs, and investigators say Ashlee later switched license plates on the rental car. Now, police say the investigation has expanded into four states: Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and California.

New photos of Bryan Kohberger’s knife sheath have just been released, giving a closer look at one of the most important pieces of evidence in the Idaho murders investigation. Along with those images, new DoorDash bodycam footage shows an interview with the driver who delivered food to 1122 King Road only minutes before the murders. She recalled seeing a young woman with long brown hair watching her from an upstairs window. It’s a small detail, but it brings a new perspective to that night and how close this driver came to crossing paths with Bryan Kohberger.

The FBI has executed three major search warrants in the case of missing 9-year-old Melodee Buzzard, tearing up carpet, drywall, and even concrete from her mother Ashlee Buzzard’s home in Lompoc, California. Agents were seen carrying out large evidence bags, while separate searches were conducted at a storage unit and the rental car Melodee was last seen in. Former FBI agent Jennifer Coffindaffer joins Ashleigh Banfield to break down what these new searches could mean and what the removal of carpet and concrete might reveal.
