This week, Julie & Brandy focus on the lean, green side of things in an hour-long rant, that is both (simultaneously) outrageous and outraging. That's because there is one issue affecting every other issue, and it (finally) cannot be ignored; THE ECONOMY. Maintaining self-control while talking about something as personal and infuriating as the economy is difficult at best, but  making sense on the topic proves to be even harder for the girls.  Julie helps Brandy through an existential, economic breakdown, before having one herself over Democratic billionaire, and self-funded presidential candidate, Tom Steyer. Judge Julie reads Tom Steyer to filth, and then sticks around to show us her softer side in a 'So There's That' dedicated to animals.  We salute and acknowledge the 14 listeners, because only the most loyal of people could survive a recession AND a crappy podcast (like this one).

This week, Julie & Brandy tackle the gun control debate in the only way they know how: dumb and gay. Even though there have been more mass shootings than DAYS in 2019, there's good news on the horizon, but you have to listen to the podcast if you want the burn of the scalding hot tea. After yelling their way through the gun lobby sh*tstorm, the girls listen to the gay feelings of one of their 14 listeners, Rene Soto, and then Julie finds the Republitarian alternative to Trump in her 'So There's That.' The opening song of Dumb Gay Politics has never been more prophetic than it has this week. 'America has gotten kinda wack' with mass shootings every other day, and the immovable gridlock of the gun control debate. The only thing Julie & Brandy can do is turn their focus to who is going to replace Trump in 2020, and that means chopping up last week's debates. They attempt to rehash the highs, the lows, and the what-have-yous, including how Beto O'Rourke is 6'4" and Pete Buttiegieg has the same birthday as Brandy.  After that, their trusted intern and friend Aran O'Roe stops by to take the girls to Bernie Sanders Scheww, and that's when sh*t gets REAL. It's only been one week since Julie & Brandy went to Descrimmigration Scheww, and the nightmare at America's southern border has spread to 10 major cities, as Trump orders Immigration & Customs Enforcement (ICE) to begin raids on undocumented immigrants in NY, LA, SF, Atlanta, Houston, Baltimore, Miami, Denver, Chicago & New Orleans. The girls chop that up, and then Judge Julie sentences Vice President Mike Pence to life in a border detention facility for being an unkind, insensitive, insincere, FAKE Christian. After that, they get a thoughtful message from Julie's dad regarding the border "concentration camp" controversy. Keep your stress ball nearby, because the girls do a lot of talking in this episode, and (just like the real news) most of what they say is borderline offensive and probably wrong.
