The free agent articles/videos will be dropping every Tuesday afternoon in advance of when bids process on Wednesday at 5 AM and will consist of the week’s Top 5 free agent adds. I will do my best to keep the players listed at an ownership percentage of 65% or less and make sure all players have contracts of $8,000,000 or less, with most players coming in at under $4,000,000. One last note, in Dynasty Owner you will be credited each week with 25% of your entire Bench’s score making these weekly free agent pick-ups extremely important to help boost your total weekly score.

Thanks for reading my weekly preview article and hopefully not getting distracted by the ramblings in the previous few paragraphs. Every week of the 14-game Dynasty Owner regular season and three game playoffs, I’ll present a player at each position (QB, RB, WR, TE) who you should have as a Starter in your Dynasty Owner lineup. After that, I’ll name one player per position who should be on your Bench or Practice Squad. These won’t be recommendations for Starters that you get everywhere else. No recommendations to go ahead and start guys who have produced well the past couple of weeks, like Kareem Hunt. He’s RB8 in Dynasty Owner, was drafted in the fifth or sixth round, on average (ADP 63.3) and has averaged more than 22.0 Dynasty Owner fantasy points over the past two weeks. Same thing with Dalton Schultz. Unless you have both Travis Kelce and Darren Waller or three of the top 10 WRs, you probably should have Schultz in your Starting lineup. He has more Dynasty Owner fantasy points over the past two weeks than any other TE and a good TE is hard to find. Instead of guys like Hunt or Schultz, I’m going to recommend you Start players who were clearly drafted to be on your Bench or Practice Squad, or who rank outside the Top 12 QBs, Top 24 RBs, Top 24 WRs and Top 12 TEs. For the Bench recommendations, I’ll suggest players drafted to be Starters or who should be in your Starting lineup based on their current ranking, but who shouldn’t be in there this week based on matchups, past performance against a team or something else.

Surprisingly after four complete weeks of the NFL season, there are still more than a few players left in the Free Agent Auction who can help your Bench scoring out at minimum. At this point in the year, depth will be extremely crucial as injuries start to rack up and we have bye weeks coming right around the corner. The start of this season has been odd to say the least and I have a great example of why. The team I wrote about in my rebuilding articles series is now 1-3, but has outscored everyone in the league by 40 points. If you have a team in a similar situation, I would love to hear about it.

Hello all. Thank you for continuing to read my articles, and thank you for supporting Dynasty Owner. Today I will be starting a new article series. If you followed my content over the past couple of weeks, you know that I wrote about why you shouldn’t overreact to some performances in this young season. The general idea was that one or two weeks is too small of a sample size to gauge a full season. Two weeks is too small to judge players in Dynasty Owner especially. If you play in redraft, then I can understand the willingness to make important decisions based on a couple weeks, but we are trying to build a team for years to come. Please continue to trust your off-season process and your overall plan.

As I said, today I am going to start a new series. This will be divided into four parts, and it will take a look at some of the more unbelievable statistics that have occurred so far this season. While this isn’t going to be a “Blind Player Comparison” theme, it will use some of the writing styles and tools that I use in those articles. These four articles will hopefully give you a new way of looking at some players, and most importantly, be fun to read. Hopefully you have as much fun reading them as I do writing them. This week’s Thursday night game was decidedly less exciting than the past two weeks, but it did feature something that both of those games lacked. That’s right a rookie QB making his first NFL start. Washington Football Team QB Taylor Heinicke was making his first regular season start last week, but don’t forget that he started the Football Team’s playoff game against Tampa Bay last year. Last night, it was Davis Mills taking over for Tyrod Taylor as Houston’s QB and you have to think that with Deshaun Watson’s “issues” and desire to never play for the Texans again that we might have seen the change to a new QB of the future for Houston.

Week 2 has come and gone. With it, there are only seven teams remaining that are undefeated. Today, I will be finishing up the second half of my “Don’t Tilt” article series. Last week, I brought you an explanation as to why you shouldn’t tilt about players on half of the NFL teams. The other 16 teams will be presented today. Obviously we have a little bigger sample size as I’m writing this after two weeks of action instead of one, but the point still remains. I would not overreact to performances after just two weeks. The only case that I would tend to “give up” on a player is if they are injured and projected to miss significant time. Let’s get into it…
