The 8th-century BC Israelite prophet after whom a book of the Old Testament is named, was known as Isaiah. The Book of Isaiah is quoted many times by New Testament writers as direct prophetic revelations of the nature, purpose, and detail of the death of Jesus. The Book of Mormon reveals that all things prophesied by Isaiah have been and will be fulfilled. A seminal passage in the Book of Isaiah used the term Seraphim to describe six-winged beings or angels that fly around the Throne of God. Enjoy this ENCORE Presentation!
