Exciting POSITIVE ENERGY in this episode as the founder of THE GAIA UNIVERSITY, Drina opens up about her 23 plus year journey with autoimmune illnesses.
The journey started in 2000 with celiac disease to Hasimoto's and then fibromyalgia shortly after the birth of her daughter. A few years later after covid only to have the same crippling fatigue to return. After countless tests and ruling out other ailments an endocrinologist was quick to diagnosis her with ADDISON'S DISEASE in February of 2023.
Along her journey she found her true passion with energy work and with THE GAIA UNIVERSITY. Using modalities such as REIKI, TAPPING, MEDIATION, SOUND THERAPY and more to manage her symptoms and mental wellbeing. She also recognized the need and benefit of community with invisible illnesses. Creating a non-judgemental virtual space with her INVISIBLE ILLNESS CIRCLES for individuals to connect and share the struggles and triumphs.
