A little adventure with health care left Jill reminding herself if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all.
An experience many of us have unfortunately experienced is individuals comparing their "LOW ENERGY" to their adrenal glands and being "JUST LIKE YOU". Jill had a medical appointment during a LOW CORTISOL NIGHTMARE and had the nurse saying her "LOW ENERGY" must be from low cortisol as well..."JUST LIKE YOURS"
WHAT??? Biting her tongue Jill decided it was an opportunity to educate the health care system on how the adrenal glands function and what low cortisol actually means (sigh). Within five minutes this 'health care' professional decided her issue was not actually LOW CORTISOL but HIGH CORTISOL....now Jill almost wanted duct tape for her mouth but chose to explain again the adrenal glands and Cushing's Disease.
