Week 11 of the Philadelphia Eagles 2025-2026 season is now in the books as they beat the Detroit Lions by a score of 16-9 at The Linc in South Philly. Yet again, we saw an offense that continues to sputter and baffle us fans. Meanwhile, we’re watching a Super Bowl caliber defense that is defying the odds. They are now 8-2 on the season and at the top of the NFC East division and NFC overall.
Once again, the Eagles were predictable, even though A.J. Brown saw 11 targets in this game. The rushing game, once again, couldn’t get going. Jalen Hurts was missing open receivers and overthrowing receivers as well. The offense’s main issue - the offensive line and their inconsistent play both in the rushing and passing game. the Eagles have the most expensive offense in the NFL by a significant margin. And they continue to be a terrible offense.
It’s an A+ grade for all aspects of this defense. From the pressure the defensive front consistently put on Jared Goff, to the linebackers making a tremendous impact, to the amazing play by the secondary on two of the league’s best wide receivers, the defense was absolutely dominant. Vic Fangio has this defense playing on all cylinders!
As always, we gave our top themes, thoughts and opinions from the game on offense, defense, and special teams, plus we graded each unit to close out the show.
