Segment 1: Habits and Perceptions
1. A habit requires no decision—the decision is already made. Habits eliminate the need for self-control.
2. The more we do something, the easier it becomes to keep doing it.
3. Habits tend to revolve around our Tendency: upholders, questioners, obligers, rebels.
4. We live our lives not how we think of ourselves or how others think of us, but how we THINK that others think of us.
5. Do we perceive people as being good? Bad? Brene Brown: our lives are much happier when we truly believe that people are doing the best they can with the tools they currently have.
