Dearest Coven, what a journey we've been on. Over the past 4 years, 192 episodes (!!) and many many hours of laughs, tears, and everything in between, we've been through so much together. Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. With much sadness and a lot of thoughtful consideration, we've made the decision to take a break from the podcast. It's hard to find the words for what this show and all of our wonderful, dedicated listeners mean to us. We’ve flown over Point Pleasant with Mothman (and his hot ass,) made crop circles with little green men, traveled back in time to some of the most infamous crime scenes, and done it all with a side of humor and a glass of wine. It’s an incredible thing to find a community of people who are into the same weird shit that we are, and we don’t take that for granted. The beautiful thing is that the weird shit will all still be out there, and maybe one day we’ll decide we need to talk about it again in a very public way. But until then, keep your inner circles weird. Never stop believing. Always question the government. And most importantly, don’t forget to keep it spooky. We love you! Happy haunting!

Thank goodness we weren't around in the summer of 1988, when residents of Lee County, South Carolina started spotting a mysterious creature hanging around the local swamp. He was 8 feet tall, with an angular face, scaly skin, and massive claws... but don't worry, we can fix him! Tune in to find out everything you need to know about this reptillian cryptid, and his cousin the Loveland Frog.

Do you hear that coven? It's the gales of November. And we know from the beautiful poetry of Gordon Lightfoot's musical storytelling that the gales are indeed bad news, especially when they arrive early. If you haven't yet guessed it, this week we are covering the tragic tale of the Edmund Fitzgerald. On November 9th, 1975, the great lakes freighter left Wisconsin bound for a steel mill near Detroit, but she would never see her destination. This week, on the 50th anniversary of the tragedy, we'll cover her ill-fated journey. We'll also share some good news and end the episode with a multitude of good things. Join us as we travel back in time and dig a little deeper into this very powerful story.
