  • Commandment 5 of 10 - Professionally Sharpened
Welcome back!! Today, we are continuing The 10 Commandments, and we are at Commandment 5 Professionally Sharpened. We mean that when your knives do go dull, it's best to get them professionally sharpened. You can always try to sharpen your knives yourself, but most of the time, if you don't know what you're doing, you will probably ruin them even more. It's best to reach out to the company that made your knives and asks them what tool your should use and what angle the knife's edge is set at to be able to sharpen your knife. If they don't tell you or don't have an answer... then they probably aren't a trustworthy company, and you probably shouldn't buy any more knives from them. Always look for an alternative company, one that provides free in-home sharpening or where you can send them back to the factory to be sharpened for the cost of shipping. Yes, that might sound crazy, but some companies provide those services. You can always contact us on our Facebook page
"EasyKnifeLife" to learn more about them. Remember to share with your friends and family!!!

  • Commandment 3 of 10 - Having A Good Cutting Strategy
Welcome back! In today's episode, we will be discussing Commandment #3, which is Having A Good Cutting Strategy. The reasoning behind why having a good cutting strategy is so critical is to have competence in what you're doing in the kitchen. There is no reason for you to compare yourself to a chef. We understand you watch a chef cut, and it might discourage you because you can't cut like them. We will explain to you what is " a good cutting strategy." The key is focusing on what you can do instead of what you can't do. If you enjoy this episode, then remember to share it with your friends and family!!!
