For this week's episode, we answer this question submitted to us via IG:
"I have a very close friend of many years that I've always found certain traits annoying, but it's at a stage now where I find things unbearable. One of the things is that he's a Libra, and he just wants to be everyone's best friend, which I find a bit fake and nauseating. We both sense that we've drifted as friends, but we're not really addressing it, and I personally would even want to drift even further away, but I don't know what to do."

The request for advice for today's show is:
"How can I come to terms with close family relationships in my life, being continuously disappointing, not showing an interest in my life, openly stating that they don't prioritize me, not celebrating major life events with me, or asking questions about my life."

Our listener is stuck in a rut and wants our advice:
"How do I know if I should stay with my partner or not? I'm in my 50s, and I've been in my relationship with my partner for eight years. She's one of my oldest friends, and I love her tremendously, but she just can't be there for me emotionally, no matter how hard I ask her to be. I feel quite irritated and resentful towards her, even more so in the last year, I'm sick of being in this space, and if I was younger, I would leave, but I'm wondering if maybe I should stay for now, given we're so old, and maybe I can get emotional support from friends. She doesn't want therapy, and I just really feel stuck. I know she loves me, but is it enough?"

This week's question hits close to home for us
"My friend is the type to be very easy going. Even if she does have preferences, I am the picky one. How far should I go to make sure that her preferences are met versus doing or going where I prefer, since I am more picky, because she'll always give in to me if I'm not the one to be like, "Come on, let's just do what you want!" And to an extent, it feels like I'm taking advantage of her and I'm the only one getting what I want. How?"

We give advice this week for this question:
"I'm really good friends with this guy, but he's interested in me. I don't like him that way, and I have made it known several times, but he's still relentless, and it gives me pressure to not give him the wrong signal. Should I let this friendship go?"

In this episode, we take on this conundrum
"What if I'm already so happy in my singlehood? Would being in a relationship make me happier? Friends have been asking me to put more effort into finding a boyfriend, but I don't have that motivation, because I'm happy!"

In this week's episode, the question is
"I have a new boyfriend. I'm gay, but my best friend hates him. I don't know what to do, because I love my best friend, but I also love my boyfriend, but I keep trying to talk to my best friend about it, but he's been ignoring my messages. The short story is they dated, and then my boyfriend broke my best friend's heart when he ended the relationship, my best friend didn't want me to date my boyfriend, but he's just a really great guy, and I'm in love with him. Then I spoke to my best friend another time, and he said it was fine to date my boyfriend if I wanted to, and that he'd be fine. But obviously that's not the case. Can I date my boyfriend and keep my best friend? Can't my best friend just accept that I'm dating my boyfriend?"

This week, we help someone who needs help after a situationship hits troubled waters:
"How do I give myself closure from a situationship? I feel that the situationship feels open for me, because I never got to talk to him about whatever was going on between us. This situationship lasted for about six months, and if you're wondering how I found out he has a girlfriend, he brought her to one of our friends gathering without my knowledge that his girlfriend is coming. When I saw them holding hands, I had to look like I'm not affected, even though I was on the verge of tearing up, I even had to act like I'm so happy for them. We also have a huge age gap of 10+ years, and I don't want to sound immature asking him, what was all of that? I also feel that one part of me was very hopeful that this situationship could turn into something but turns out, only I feel this way. I really want to move on from this and not feel upset that he didn't choose me"

The question for this episode is:
"My boyfriend of six years said I'm expecting him to shoulder the burden of a home together. When I spoke of living together, I just bought a house. As my sister and I can't afford to buy another home. I wasn't even expecting him to buy a home. I was just sharing about living together as a couple in the future. It's sad to know that after being together for six years, he still uses terms like shoulder the burden. I have to pay it all. I'm expected to swallow all the expenses. If you so calculative and unwilling to pay for more of your life partner, then there's no future there."

The request for advice for today's show is:
"My girlfriend says she doesn't want me to do things for her, but I want to. She gets really upset with me when I do things for her, even when she's told me not to do them, even things like picking her up from work, and then she brings up my past relationships or friendships or threatens to break up with me. This happens a lot, and I find it exhausting, but I'm terrified to lose her. Why doesn't she appreciate me doing things for her?"
