On this weeks episode of the podcast Talia and Ebony are joined in the studio by the lovely Mary-Anne Quezel.
Together they discuss her experience with childhood sexual and physical abuse as well as the challenges and hardship she endured during her younger years.
Mary-Anne candidly walks us through her horrific experience of a forced abortion at the tender age of 16 and so openly shares her memories of this time. She also discusses the significant impact this experience had on her physically, psychologically and emotionally in her adult years.
Todays episode doesn’t only highlight the impacts and effects of complex childhood trauma on the human mind, body, and soul. It also emphasises human resilience as she takes us through how she turned her pain into her purpose.
Mary-Anne is now a holistic therapist, teacher and author, who focuses on teaching individuals to heal through their trauma and challenges by regulating their nervous system.
We are incredibly grateful to be sharing her story.
