John is a great storyteller! He can hold an audience of 1 or 1,000's attention, he can speak your language, seems to be what you need to hear when you need to hear it! He has an uncanny ability to keep up with the technology (almost in-front of it) and talk about it (not down to you) at a level the common person can understand. What I loved about this interview is the Lifestyle discussions, the ways to improve the whole you! Really if your business is actually going to become an important part of your life, you have to improve all of your life, your health, your body and your mind! Sit back and open your attitude for adjustment, it needs it and John can help you get there!
Chris believes that 95% (No real basis for this number) of people don't love their job, and up until 3 months ago, he was one of the 95%. Not anymore, he has found his dream job, albeit at a much lower salary, and he smartly uses his "Side Hustle": controlled selling on Amazon, to supplement that wage shortfall. Truly the best of both, almost like "You can have it all!" Imagine instead of ONLY replacing your job as your goal, you figure out what you really love (maybe it is not selling on Ebay or Amazon), I think teaching people to surf or entering the Great Barbeque contests for example, and giving it your all because you have that steady "Intentionally controlled" side income. Intentionally controlled means that you efficiently sell an optimal amount, enough to give you the desired results with minimal effort! Wow, Chris walks us through his systems and talks of his "New" lifestyle.
Gary has been a "part-time" entrepreneur for a long time, anyone remember "Carlton Sheets"? Gary's ability to scale a major eCommerce business while working as a full time teacher shows his skills in motivating others. He has 7 part time employees with an interesting commission plan who are really driving his incredible growth. He focuses on training, patiently, and has a learn from your mistakes attitude. Teaching and more importantly summers off have given him trial runs for his launching this year to becoming a full-time seller. Gary also has been a coach (great transferable skillset) for Jim Cockrum for several years and also does private coaching for sellers.
Are you ready for some candor? This podcast has it all: some highs, some lows, real success, more success, even more success, stress, fork in the road, zig & zag, hold on, hold on too long, then the end. Or is it????? Reboot, rethink, re-focus, re-train, re-educate, stay focused, work harder, success!
Ok, maybe wasn't quite like that , but Chris story has a lot of twists and ups and downs. I so appreciate the candor, the pull no punches approach that Chris has on his story. It is a great blueprint, not to follow (Chris would agree!). The best part of this podcast are the absolutes that Chris now has. One's you can use (and should use!) to keep you on the road, think guardrails for your business.

Nicole clearly understands the UK Amazon way, it is a little different than here in the US! (similar to Ebay and Ebay Motors) She takes the time to explain the EFN (European Fulfillment Network) and how you can use it to your advantage. She speaks of the growing market and the increasing power of Amazon in Germany and their explosive purchasing online. She also contrasts and compares the various markets. She also mentions an opportunity to source from Europe to sell into other parts of Europe. (Travel trip anyone?) Nicole is a coach and I think has taken coaching to the next level with offering her own local conference on Amazon. Clearly a big undertaking, but a great way to own a market. She offers services to help you get started in Europe, she helps with banking, tax and prep companies...all are necessary and complicated. She also can act as an on-site representative if needed.
